So i have a 180cm long desk and i want an addressable led strip on the back off it.
i want a led strip that is min 2 m long and can be controlled in synapse.
philips hue is not an option cuz its not addressable.

Maybe you can check out Pacific Lumi Plus by Tte if not wrong they stated it can be controlled with Synapse 3 but I haven't tried it myself yet so I can't actually say anything about it.

It can be controlled and i was thinking about that one.
My only question about it is can i chain 6 of them cuz 1 strip is 30cm and its chain able but I can't find anything how what is the max length that can be chained.

For adressable go with life-z on regular strip with synapse only hue lightstip it's your choise what you take but both fetures you can't get.

I was looking at these ones when I was looking at doing the same thing. From the Amazon reviews they look pretty good, don't have experience personally as I ended up just getting some cactus fairy lights 😉. The Cougar ones here are pretty good too from what I've seen and heard, but they're only 45~ cm long each so you'd have to pick up multiple packs.

If you're connecting them directly to the 5V header on your motherboard then you wouldn't be able to get past 1m on average, depending on the max power output of your board's ARGB header.
