Hey there ! I’m looking for recommendations on what kind of longer usb cord everybody is using to replace the one that is provided with a razor Keio Pro camera it’s not long enough for what I’m doing and I need something longer, is there a recommended extender that actually works? I’ve tried different usb 3.0 cords and I’ve tried extenders . Not sure if it needs to have a signal booster? I need something at least 10 feet long. I would appreciate any recommendations links to products that you have personally used that work!

I use the cheapest 3M USB A 3.1 M-F extender cable found on amazon with good results in combination with the supplied Razer cable despite the instructions stating to only use supplied cable...
I've probably put way too much effort into getting to this point but here's what I've learned so far.
If you want to use the benefits of a USB 3.0 connection, you're going to be stuck with the short cable from Razer. I've tried a variety of powered USB extension cables, as short as two meters, and none of them will give me a USB 3.0 connection with the Kiyo Pro. The device simply doesn't get recognized by the system even though the same cables provide stable USB 3.0 connections for a wide range of other devices.
You can get away with a USB 2.0 extension cable. Works like a champ. But it kills the primary benefits of using the Kiyo Pro because you're then limited to a USB 2.0 connection.

I haven't seen any official commentary from Razer on what makes the Kiyo Pro so special that it won't work with a powered USB 3.0 extension cable that is proven compatible with other USB 3.0 devices. Their only official statement that I've seen is that they only support their own USB 3.0 cable, which makes using the key features of this impressive camera very limiting.

I would return this camera if it weren't that my testing took me past the return date. The first gen Kiyo provides the same quality with an extension cable that the pro does thanks to this limitation. No need to splurge on the newer model if you plan on connecting more than a few feet from where the camera needs to be.
