Make a Right-Handed Version of the NAGA Left-Handed Mouse

When you break down the stats of the four current NAGA choices, the Left-Handed would be my choice... except, it is left-handed.

Please make the Left-Handed NAGA in a Right-Handed version.

Until then, I am settling for the Trinity NAGA (okay NAGA). I'd move to the NAGA X, but I don't want to give up 3 programmable buttons. The whole point of the NAGA is more buttons. Why did you remove 3 from NAGA X anyway?

Left-Handed NAGA for Right-Handed people please, with the braided cable. :)

im trying so hard to figure out what you mean by left handed in right handed version - the only different is the button position. if u mean by that. i mean, so u want the pinky rest on the right side with buttons ? or something else that i dont understand >.<
Thanks for the reply.

If you look at the Razer link that I shared and scroll to the chart at the bottom of the page, you will see that the Left-Handed Naga has 20 programmable buttons. The Naga X, only has 16. Even on the picture you posted, you can see that the Left-Handed Naga (and Trinity and Pro) physically has two buttons below the scroll wheel, while the Naga X only has one. It appears that Razer has taken away the "left-right tilt" on the scroll wheel on the "X" too. So three programmable buttons are physically gone now.

The original Naga (2009) to the 2013 Molten had 17 programmable buttons. The 2014 and Chroma (2016) Nagas had 19 programmable buttons, with the scroll wheel "left-right tilt" feature being added to get two more programmable buttons. The Left-Handed Naga seems to have the same amount of physical programmable buttons as the 2014, Chroma, and Trinity (a note on the 19 and 20 difference in buttons is at the bottom of this post). Why is the "X" regressing to 16? The whole point of the Naga is more buttons.

It looks like the Left-Handed edition is an updated 2014 or Chroma (2016), but for left-handed players. Those 2014-2016 Nagas were probably the apex of the Naga physical design. The Trinity is okay, but the magnets on the side are annoying as the mouse gets pulled toward my Blackwidow keyboard all of the time when they are close to each other.

To reiterate my plea to Razer, please make the Left-Handed Naga for right-handed players. I'd say just update the 2014-2016 models with today's technical standards, but the Left-Handed Naga also seems to be lighter than those older models, which seems to be preferable to most players. And keep it wired with no removable magnet side panel - keep it a dedicated Naga-only mouse. Don't reinvent the wheel. The Naga's physical shape and button layout was basically perfected in 2014-2016.

I would love to buy a few more new Nagas, but I am not buying the "X" and the Trinity has its own problems.

I hope that helps clarify my meaning and I am sorry that the first post was unclear. It is meant to be constructive so Razer can get back to making superior mice.

Side note on the Left-Handed Naga claim of 20 programmable buttons: the right-handed Nagas in the past didn't include the "left-click" mouse button as programmable, while the Left-Handed Naga seems to list it as programmable to reach the number 20. It appears that the Left-Handed Naga actually has the same number of programmable buttons as the 2014, Chroma, and Trinity (19 or 20 depending on how you want to count the buttons). The "left-click" button on the right-handed mice CAN BE CHANGED, but you have to re-program the "left-click" to another button first to do that. It seems to be a safety feature so the essential function of a "left-click" is not accidentally lost by the user. Makes sense and a good safety feature.

i understand now, the whole point u just wanted more buttons. i love the pros. and i think ur request is acceptable i hope they see ur thread here. and maybe they should make lighter mice and custom weight. i am bit of mascular im positive on my strenght. not really a fans of light mice. i like G502 its really tempting with the adjustable weight. thinking about it at least once a month. but already had my basilisk ultimate still love too see it from razer
Thanks for the support!

And I'm not suggesting something unrealistic or unprofitable for Razer. They already have the basic design for the physical layout and the internal mouse hardware and software. Of course they are going to have costs associated with altering their manufacturing, but that should be a part of their business model since they alter their manufacturing every few years anyway.

With a looming recession and consumers having less spending money, perhaps releasing a "Classic" version of the NAGA could be a way of offering cheaper products to the market (or perhaps even other products, like the 2013 Tartarus/Tartarus Chroma hand controller [Nostromo anyone?]).

Maybe that will be my next suggestion, some classic merchandise.

The Basilisk looks like a nice mouse. I've never tried one since I was hooked on the Naga when it first came out. I would get a wired version of the Basilisk for first person shooters. Keep the wired mice in production Razer! 🙂 The G502 looks okay too.

That's a great idea. I didn't even see that option. Thanks!
