Has anyone heard if there is a new version of the Mamba that is going to be coming out any time soon? I get that the 2012 Mamba almost has chroma, except its not branded Chroma and its only a 6400 dpi mouse compared to the new DeathAdder which is 10,000dpi!! Even the Naga Epic Chroma is 8200dpi. The Mamba is just so far behind

I was planning to get a Mamba but since it hasn't been updated in so long I thought there would be a Mamba Chroma some time soon. Hopefully we get one next year!

As far as I know, one has not yet been announced but I'm sure that we will be seeing a newer version soon. Do not worry my friend!

Couldn't Razer simply update the firmware to make the Mamba 2012 Chroma compatible?

I feel like the Naga Epic from 2013 should also become Chroma compatible. After All, it basically has the full spectrum of colors, maybe not as much as the new Chroma but close.

as a Mamba 2012 user for the past 2 years, i feel 6400 DPI is more than sufficient! Chroma or not, it already has a colour cycle.. haha

I brought Mamba in the early 2012 when it was released & they haven't made an update to it since! Hopefully 2015 will be the year a new Mamba comes out!
