    Hey guys!

So I recently got my brand new ManO'War wireless and I'm wondering if someone could help me to completely get rid of the static noise I'm almost constantly hearing, when no music or anything is playing. So basically when the headphones are on idle. It's not that static noise from Mic monitoring, that is also set to 0. It's not very loud, but it's really annoying! Sometimes it goes away for a couple seconds but that's all.

I thought it's because I had the USB reciever plugged into my PC 2.0 port. So now I even plugged the dock, in a 3.0 USB port, and I put the reciever in that Razer dock. Thought it'll fix the problem. It got better actually, but the sound is still there, it's just different a little.

It is a little similar to the sound which u get when a phone is about to ring, and it's close to a speaker. I can hear some clicks sometimes, and btw my phone is not even close!

Hey there! I'm here to help. May I know if the same happens if you use the headset with another PC? Also, please try the following and let us know how it goes.
    • Use the included extension dock to separate your USB 3.0 and transceiver with as much distance as possible.
    • If your PC has a choice of USB 2.0 connectors, use the one on the opposite side of the PC away from the USB 3.0 connector and position your transceiver as close as possible to the Razer ManO’War.

Thank you very much for trying to help me!

I didn't try with any other PC yet, but I will bring it to my friends laptop and see if it behaves like this. I AM using the extension dock included, as I didn't use before and I thought that could be the problem. Also it was plugged in a 2.0 USB and now I'm using a 3.0.

I didn't really understand your last sentence, should I plug the extention in a 2.0?

Also I can't put too far the extention dock (I just placed further away from the PC, has around 1m distance now) but my PC is on the desk.

I still hear a silent sshh sound I think. Will test more.

Yes. Please try to plug it to the 2.0 port farthest from the 3.0 ports if you can.

Let me know how it goes. :)

    Oh I thought it requires a 3.0 :)

Just wanted to rule out the possibility of it being an interference from the 3.0 slot. You can check out the first FAQ entry in this link for more info.

Unfortunately, I only have USB 3.0 on the top of my PC case, and on the motherboard there's 2x 2.0 and 2x 3.0 but those are near each other :/

I see. Do try both of the 2.0 ports. Also, have you tried it on another PC?
