I like my keyboards clean. So mechanical it is for me. Membrane is really hard to clean it if you have hair or dirt stuck between the keycaps, since you can't really pull it out.

You have a point here. Probably google analytics can give a better answer to this type of queries.

for me it all depends on the work I'm doing. if I'm typing a paper for school I'll go with my old death stalker, because of the lower key travel. If I'm gaming I like the tactile, both sound and feel of the switch going off. It leaves less room for error because there is no half presses with a mechanical keyboard.

I have no choice. When i go to office, I have to use a membrane keyboard they provide.... If only Razer worked with corporates and sell'em to corporations and be their keyboard supplier....

Apologies if you already said this but do they allow you to game at your office??? That sounds badass enough for me to excuse them.

Ah, ok. Most certainly respectable. Regardless the products are worth it.

I would think I would be like most here who have made the switch to mechanical keyboards. After using mechanical keyboards, I would not go back to a membrane one unless something happens to my mechanical keyboard and I would have to use my backup membrane one. But if ever that happens I would not be on membrane for long nad would buy a new mechanical keyboard.

I prefer mechanical because, personnaly, i think it feels better when you are gaming and i love the sound of the mechanical keyboard compared too a membrane one. Although I'm not saying i don't like membrane keyboard.

Same here, the sound makes it really satisfying when I code away my programs!

I have used both before, and I'm sticking with mech keyboards. The clicking feels much better for me. That's for gaming.

I use membrane for work and study, it feels faster and more stable.

Mechanical. I just love the sound of the cherry mx greens. The day I bought my mechanical keyboard I fell in love with it. I don't think I can go back to using a low grade keyboard. Mac keyboards are nice but my ducky shine is way more nice to use.
