Hi guys, as a new owner of a blackwidow chroma v2 I've been thinking about buying the Razer Metallic Keycap set, because I really think they look pretty cool.

But I would like to know if anyone here has the Blackwidow chroma v2 and has tried to put the Metallic Keycap.
does it fit well? does it feels good at typing?
I have read that sometimes metallic keys are more raised than the others, looking a little odd and feeling weird at typing.
Could someone tell me your experience with this?
If you could add photos of your Blackwidow chroma v2 with metallic keycap set, I would love it.

I am pretty sure they are the exact sane height and font and they fit just fine from what I have read about them and heard about them other times, and I think they add some kind of a 'ting' like sound when you use them. I think there might be a couple sound tests on youtube that have the sound of them in it if you felt like it,

But yes, they would just fit fine. The Blackwidow V1 and V2 have the same key sizes as far as I am aware.

Try looking on youtube on some reveiws, you might get to see something helpful for your cause. Though i suspect they are the same size as normal keys just made by some thought metal. For me the wrist rest from the BW seems a bit too high, i can barely reach the keys if i'm not pressing a bit on it, but that's not such a big problem i just need to get used with it.

    Hi!
I have the Blackwidow Chroma v2 and the keycaps. Sadly, they are far from perfect.
They are slightly raised, which isn't an issue for me. The metallic feel and the different sounds are nice.
There is one dealbreaker though: The don't stay on the keyboard. Typing fast makes them come off or loose. I have to reattach them ever few minutes of typing.
Thinking about to put the plastic ones back on to be honest.

    Edit:

Yeah, that's why I'm doing looking for some Youtube videos, but most of them try the keycaps on Blackwidow X
also some other guys like this one:

seems that keycaps don't fit well, but reading the comments some people say he isn't putting them right, other guys telling that his keyboard isn't the right for the keycaps

Yeah, that's the main issue I've read about this metallic keycaps, and now you've validated this information...
Well, that's kind of sad, I wish there was a model of these keys that fit perfectly.
    Thank you very much!!

My keycaps fit very well, except for my E key. I'll send the pictures later but it seems that the cross shaped hole that attaches the key switch to the cap isn't perfectly consistent throughout the metal keycaps set. My E key has a slightly bulging metal roundness at the bottom of the hole, which makes it not fit well and it is slightly raised. Although it doesn't fall off or wobble like some people are reporting, it is still kind of annoying that there is one key that is raised above the others
