Monitor and graphics issue Blade 15'' 2018 advanced

Hi all.

Model RZ-0902386E92
Windows 10 Pro 64bit
So two issues that I think are linked :
1) My monitor is being recognized as generic pnp(plug and play) monitor, which means windows cant find the correct drivers and uses simple windows drivers instead of the correct ones.
2) I can't adjust the brightness anywhere. No options what so ever. Not in the quick tab nore in the display settings or control panel. And the keyboards shortcuts (fn + F8 or F9) are not responsive.
On the other hand the shortcuts to adjust the keyboard brightness do work.

I installed the relevant latest video drivers via the razer driver download page.
Intel UHD 360 and nvidia gtx1070 MAX Q design
Tried updating them, uninstalling, reinstalling, deleting and scanning for changed hardware with no results.

If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there! Thank you for posting your concern here. Sorry to hear about your laptop's display concern. Have you tried reverting your laptop's operating and reinstall its drivers?
