Playing casual in CSGO is definitely the worst. It's brutal just having to block so many people to prevent from hearing screaming in the gamechat.

Not gaming related, but absolutely a parenting community I joined probably 12 years back. (and left perhaps a month later) To this day, nothing beats it when it comes to toxic and volatile. Those women were certifiable!

And yes, Facebook! I failed to mention Facebook! I wish I can rant about toxic people in Facebook but I'm afraid I may be flagged for hate speech.

Definitely the lower divisions of league of legends. The amount of people I've muted is definitely in the 100's.

Dota2 and CS:GO. Not sure if just coincidence or its just really is.

Unturned, definitely. I was the source of most of the toxicity, though.

If we can include news sites : WCCFTech and Videocardz ... it's an ongoing juvenile war of AMD vs NVidia in the comments section

Have you ever seen the DOTA 2 community. When I started out I would actually get kicked from games because they claimed I was feeding, what did they expect a guy with less than 10 hours to do?

People dont realise that they too were once a noob and only through spending time in the game you become better. And that wont happen if you get toxic responses from everyone.

Don't know why Facebook became so toxic, don't people have better things to do then be oversensitive, sometimes people just need to relax. Don't worry your pretty safe here.

I always avoid mainstream games for that particular reason. Its always those immature people who ruin it for the others. In my point of view, I view games as a place to have fun, relax, play skillfully, learn from losing, enjoy while winning, and as a relief from our stressful reality, however these toxic idiots bring that stress from our realities into the gaming community, extremely ironic and counter productive imo.
