Much lower FPS than expected on Razer Blade 15

I just purchased the base model of the Razer Blade 15 with the 10th Gen Intel®️ Core™️ i7-10750H 6 Core and NVIDIA®️ GeForce GTX 1660 Ti (6GB GDDR6 VRAM).

I downloaded and ran Minecraft just as a test right out of the box, and I received surprisingly low frames. (144 fps on the lowest settings, and as low as 45 on the best settings). According to some sites, with my processor and graphics card I should be getting closer to 500. I have no FPS cap. I've attached a screenshot below so you can see the exact specifics. I'm afraid if I'm getting such low frames on Minecraft, I won't have too much fun on games like Rust and COD.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Any settings I need to adjust? This is my first gaming laptop and I'm not really sure what to do. Keep in mind this is straight out of the box, no settings tinkered with.

Thank you!

It could be that your computer is trying to use the integrated graphics instead of the GPU. I am having this same problem with Hitman 3 - it is hitting an abysmal 12 fps on low settings.
I can get it to run with the dedicated gpu by changing settings following this https://superuser.com/questions/576560/how-do-i-know-which-of-my-laptop-gpus-are-running-games (which might help you) but I still don't understand why I have to change this globally.

In the NVIDIA Control Panel under "Manage 3D Settings" I've cycled through the following options: Auto-select, Integrated graphics, and High-performance NVIDIA processor. I haven't really noticed any changes. If you look at the original screenshot I sent at the top right you can see the NVIDIA GPU is in use, so I don't think that's the issue. I appreciate your help.
Did you do it through razer synapse? I had to make this change through synapse - it didn't work for me using the NVIDIA control panel for some reason.
Also synapse came on my laptop but would not launch - I had to install it again before it would launch.
