Hey guys, let's share our favorite (or kind of) music for favorite games?

Dota2 - Led Zeppelin (kashmir, immigrant song, whole lotta love, black dog, misty mountain hop, hell any of them) and Rival Sons (electric man, pressure and time, keep on swinging, play the fool)
Wow - Pink Floyd (again, any of them), Jake bugg (slumville sunrise, lighning bolt, messed up kids, fire, kingpin)
CS - Mostly punk rock and substep (one of my favorite albums is Wu tang Clan meet the indie culture vol. 2 - Dubstep)

and about you guys... what do you listen to while playing? and what are some of your favorite songs to which game =D

I listen to Hardstyle while playing Smite, the adrenaline kick is unimaginable. For RPGs, I don't play music. The soundtracks are usually enough.

if I'm just chilling in a game not doing much I'll throw on whatever is in my 31GB music folder on random (yeah there is a lot of crap in there too much to mention)

if I'm raiding or doing stuff with other people it gets canned so I can hear game sounds and voice comms even game soundtracks get turned down in preference of game sounds.

gotta keep that concentration going ;)

Nahh man, unless your practicing or competing there's no need to keep music off in CS, try a couple 4fun games, music usually helps me focus =]

I like the game soundtrack, wow for instance has beautiful soundtrack on it, but still, sometimes you preffer to spice it your way =]

Also... wouldn't be awesome if comms could act as a music player? I mean, you could set up volume for every mic and also the soundtrack, share your tunes with friends, I don't know, just spitting out some ideas =]

I only listen to music in games that don't require to be aware of surroundings, like Trackmania. When I play CS, BF, COD, H1Z1, Arma, I need to hear what's happening around me.
I listen to metal and hard rock, check out Alestorm ;)

Didn't understand that either... I feel it's a reasonable answer, and I do love soundtracks, silent hill for example, take off the ost and you loose a lot of the gaming experience, but as for casual gameplay I just feel it's enough to have fun playing and listen to a few songs to pump up the old adrenaline

I've got a somewhat ironic soundtrack for the only game I usually have other music for. When I'm playing EVE I have a playlist that mostly consists of the soundtracks from other games: Transistor, Shadowrun Returns, the Deus Ex series, Command and Conquer series. I heard EVE has a nice soundtrack but, in big enough fleet battles having your sound enabled can actually put enough load on your system to slow things down even further so no one I know has theirs on. For most other games I tend to stick with the in-game soundtrack, particularly RPGs or RTS/TBS.

In all honesty I stopped listening to music while I play games. It distracts me a little too much.

Video game soundtracks are so beautiful to listen. Listening to other things distract me in the game. But when playing multiplayers online, I listen to classical video game music or EDM to get in to the mood.

For most game sessions or even just Skype sessions I got my Spotify with Monstercat playlist on somewhat 50%. Meanwhile playing CSGO, Competitive or not I don't have any music. You need to hear the footsteps. I'm still kind of new to it so I need to focus :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: .
