My laptop gaming setup

Userlevel 7
Hello,

Pic of my laptop gaming setup, working on building a gaming PC station which will take a little bit more time. So this is the one i game with and work all the time. Seen in the left side of the pic is Razer Elektra V2 headset which i bought first and fell in love with. Post which i bought the Hammerhead earphones usb c, Cynosa keyboard, Death elite mouse, Firefly mousepad and Razer nabu watch. The buy list is on for the PC which is in progress. :)

Cheers,
J

Nice. What do you play typically with it? Plans to expand in the future? I recently got a new Alienware as my desktop replacement and am trying to find the right way to arrange my desk area.

I usually play action/FPS like COD, The division, GTAV online, The witcher 3 and some racing (crew/nfs)/strategy(Age of empires/warcraft). Pretty much anything i could get hold of :)
Yep planning to build a Razer theme PC with the Antec cube designed by Razer and then a Razet blade 15. :)

Oh wow cool, which AW did you get? You can post pictures here and this is ne crazy good community so many amazing people who shares/helps each others with ideas and suggestions. You are at the right place.

Thanks! I shall. I'm gonna do some tidying and re-arranging of my desk space anyway tonight.

If it’s lunar white one it’s matching great with mercury Razer pheriperals like lanchead Te and Invicta mouse pad. I saw user use that setting, it’s pretty nice imo.

I appreciate the suggestion but it's actually the black one.

Here's my setup for now. I'll be moving my office relatively soon so I haven't done too many finer touches but I'm happy with it for now. I need to do something about cable management but it's hard to arrange a space where i can easily plop my laptop down and then neatly connect a keyboard, mouse, mouse mat, monitor, and speaker system to. I'm open to suggestions. I also would like to mount my 2 monitors and rotate my 2nd vertically.

This last shot including every overwatch pop figure (sans most recent wave, they're en route), every World of Warcraft Collector's edition along with some Warcraft collectibles, and finally my Diablo CE's, Starcraft CE, Some South Park Collectibles from the South Park Loot Crate, and a poster from Tool's most recent tour 😜

@jakw0lf - clean setup and a lot packed into a relatively small space! I like how you have the fireFly set in portrait mode!

@pan0phobik - I have hue throughout my house - love love love (you likely have entertainment areas setup and are using hue sync, etc). I find that the strips work best when you can't see them directly - ie if doing down lighting, it needs to be obscured or below eye level. That said I know it's not the same in person as on camera. Anyway, I just think it might be neat to have the strips running along the back/top edge of the desk (along the wall), then maybe on that lower shelf to the right of the desk (if you can make the cabling work...). Otherwise I'll give my usual lecture about cable management (do more of it!!!) and say job well done!

It’s fine they have great Razer pheriperals, i like any gaming laptops, GL503 is nice budget gaming laptop, looks more durable than their new Zephyrus, 51m is great desktop replacement brings competition to Clevo in term performance with better looking just like Razer Blade, fingers crossed that Razer will update the pro line to bring more competition on that class.

Yeah I kinda learned that the hard way. I just really wanted lighting from above. When I move my office I'm gonna obscure their view a bit better. I appreciate the feedback. And my wiring problems are hard since I have so much I need to be able to plug in to my laptop at once. I'm using nearly everything as well as 2 USB Hubs when I set down to use the desk.

@CaptnHammer Thanks Cap, yeah i have a small table at the moment. Been trying to keep it packed with enough free space for smooth movement of every peripherals. In order to keep it arranged the fireFly was set in portrait mode! :)

It was a typo indeed, i just edited it. Thanks @Joikansai for letting me know. GL503GE is a cool budget gaming machine with good specs. I have been using it for almost 4 months now. Will be building a new PC soon with more Razer hardware. 🙂
