Well, i thought i would treat myself to a new mouse for christmas as my Naga Trinity was having some side button issues and upgraded to the Naga Pro. After connecting it via 2.4 and updating via synapse 3 i noticed within seconds there was a stutter to the mouse cursor every now and again, so like most i hit google and damn it seems to be a wide spread issue.. Very dissappointed and holding onto some hope there might be an update or someone who knows something more about it.

I also noticed that in deivce manager there seems to be an error (Picture attached), tried an uninstall and reboot and still shows the same. Only shows like this with the dongle plugged in)

-Updated post with all threads information-

  • Turn off all USB power managament settings ( In control panel > power options & device manager > universal serial bus controllers )

  • Do not use USB 3.1 Gen2 Type A

  • Informaiton from reddit involving your router, either changing the channels 1/6/11 or turning 2.4ghz off completely (maybe reducing the power could also work).

  • Update firmware 1.01.00 > 2.01.00 (This is a different update from what is listed on razers firmware page)

I've had issues with the trinity for a long time now but since warranty went away a month before I can't do anything about it. My mouse keeps double left clicking or not holding the click too. Let us know if the naga pro has the same issue.

My previous mouse was a Naga Trinity and i had issues with the side buttons double clicking and the lmb (Started after a year), to early to say atm with double clicking on the Naga Pro but so far the buttons feel fine. Shame there is a significant problem with wireless though and sporadic stuttering.
Yeah it kind of sucks because I've been wanting to get a new mouse but not sure which one that will fit as well as the naga.
i need fix on this issue,
unusable with 2.4g atm,

its unacceptable

Try turning off all things to do with power management on USB ports ( In control panel > power options & device manager > universal serial bus controllers ). I also use the dongle plugged in to the port on the charge dock.

Also i would recommend to not use USB 3.1 Gen2 Type A.

I did multiple things to try and solve my issues and at the moment it seems to be working fine.

Just incase anyone missed the Razer Synapse update for the naga pro, maybe it fixes some of the issues people have.

I have stutter really bad. I'm considering replacing my mouse with something else. I've gotten used to the 6 button setup and I really don't want to change but I might have to. I wanted a wireless mouse and now I have a wired mouse for 3x the price, lest it stutter uncontrollably.
I didn't have the problem until a week or so ago and quickly it's lead to being unusable for both games and work.

A lot of people on reddit have come to the conclusion it is to do with your router, either changing the channels 1/6/11 or turning 2.4ghz off completely (maybe reducing the power could also work).

This is going to be enormously painful unfortunately because of my extender setup. I will have to factory reset all of my network devices.

I don't understand why Razer couldn't just use a clear channel. Clearly this mouse in particular has unusually bad interference issues.

I switched a lot of my devices to 5ghz, seems to have helped so far with a cocktail of other stuff as mentioned in the thread.

Still a lot of people having issues with the Naga Pro so i will keep updating this thread with new finds. For some reason the razer firmware section does not have this version and can be tricky to find.

had the same issue and even the firmware update doesnt seem to help, I m using USB extender ....

They already changed a new one for me and still having the same issue, really disappointed with the quality ...

One to note that, every time the connectivity issue happen, my razer keyboard also reset on the light, I really suspect it is the firmware issue for Razer naga pro ....

Hmm yeah that is strange, the firmware you tried was from the linked provided? I do agree the quality is very questionable which is a shame because if it worked as intended 100% of time it would be an excellent product.
