Naga trinity mouse double clicking or not holding click

Userlevel 1
My mouse does not hold the click and often double clicks. It makes it impossible to game and even do regular computer activities. If anyone knows where to get it fixed that would be much appreciated.

Fairly easy and cheap repair - you'll just need new micro switch, and some soldering skills to replace faulty one. But if you have warranty for this mouse, try to RMA it first.
Fisz I do not know if you are something of a razer or you are just a user who wants to help but let me tell you that this is not the solution, you cannot buy something and have to repair it yourself xd is illogical

Yeah, and you also don't have to repair your car?
Sh** happens, simply if you have active WARRANTY, just send it back, if not, repair it yourself, because it's cheap & easy to do.

I have a Mamba Wireless and Naga Trinity, both have click does not hold and double clicking issue.

If it is not the bad quality of micro switch then it must be the mechanical design fault of the mouse.
I found that Mamba Wireless double click issue can be fixed by firmware update.

When a firmware update for Naga Trinity will be released?
I am not sure if this is a firmware related matter or not, I have had a similar problem with clicking on my Naga Trinity. I am on my third one in 10 months.

Mostly it's a hardware issue (faulty microswitch). With firmware you can limit the double clicks - mostly it's a workaround, not a fix of a problem 🙂
That sounds about right, which is really disapointing. I had the original Naga, and then the Chroma. Now that I am using the Trinity I have found the the internal switches feel like they are far less quality. At this point I fear that I am going to need to find a different product as I am growing really tired of replacing it every few months.

I have it under warranty so I'll see if they will replace this one. o_O

Why not just buy the Naga Pro to replace it with instead since it has the Opto-Mech switches? 😲

hmmm sounds sus... mine just started doing this aswell both left and right click and ofcourse i did exactly this sus
watch your ears on the intro but this guy explains exactly why the switches are failing
My naga trinity has failed after around a year, both buttons. They want me to return it (actually gave me a very small window to do so) which is fair enough but I would be without a mouse over xmas...

I have had to just order a new mouse. The problem is I have a Huntsman elite, razer RGB mouse mat, Nommo speakers and Nari headphones I liked razer products in the past.

I'm really not happy with the current build quality of razer products at all and when it comes to replacing my keyboard (a couple of buttons now stick too!) and other equipment I will be getting another brand.

I dont see anything wrong in what @FiszPL suggested, if the peripheral is within warranty-RMA get a case opened and get the replacement done ASAP. Else if its over the warranty period, try the repair if you are aware on how to do it or can use a professional help or videos on it. Otherwise consult a local tech shop if they can get the workaround fix on it.

Faults-issues happening on peripherals is not new, it happens with any brand expensive or cheap. The only thing to do is get it sorted out one way or the other or move along. Dissing anyone trying to help or providing suggestions aint a good way to live.

Probably exchange for a new one if you have a warranty. If not, then try to see if you can opne it up and see if you can fix it yourself.
I just lowered the Polling Rate setting from 1000 to 500 and it seems to have reduced the consistency of double clicking when single clicking pretty dramatically.
So my Trinity also crapped the bed. Are the interchangeable side panels for the trinity compatible with the naga pro? I really have grown accustom to the Hex button layout.

It should fit, but I don't think it'll be correctly recognised by the software.

The sideplates do work but some of the numbers on certain plates are not recognised as the corresponding number, 5 might be 7 etc.

There is many faults with the trinity and quality control in general, i had 4 trinitys in the space of a year.
i returned a Naga Trinity i bought at wal mart, to walmart, i lost receipt, so they gave me the clearance price, 25 bucks, i was furious but my fault, i buy the latest greatest one in walmart which was Razer Naga Classic Edition, only to find out its just a reboxed and relabeled Trinity, the same broken switches on both. as per the Razer naga identification website the "classic Edition" is The Trinity, i feel seriously ripped off, the Trinity with broken switches 2 mo in left a bad taste, which is why it was on clearance in the first place, a cash grab reboxing of the EXACT same mouse.my first Gaming mouse came from Razer, GW Deathadder in 2008, and many many items later, i think im gonna need a new avatar pic, because if they try to weasle out of this, im done. i know nobody cares, but just sayin.

P.S. I paid close to 160 bucks for both broken mice, recouped 25 of it from walmart.
My brand new Razer Trinity mouse became unusable after 33 days of moderate use. A single mouse down of the right mouse button gives multiple inputs which makes using it down right dangerous to my documents and my reputation with my gaming friends. Razer requires video of the fault in order honor the warranty. This is not easy video to get but having done so I uploaded video to Imgur as instructed by Razer on their support site, sent the link to razer along with a photo pdf of my receipt and Razer promptly bounced the message because it contains links to an outside site. I have been buying Razer products since I started playing MMOs in 2008 and all the products I have bought prior to this poor quality mouse have lasted years and even when they began to fail the faults were usually minor and could be tolerated for a week or two before getting around to replace them. However the abrupt failure of this mouse, the number of complaints regarding it and the hoops I have to jump through to get an RMA could very well make this the last Razer product I buy.
I have this issue too, but I've already replaced the first one during the warranty. I hope they'll replace it again even if I admit to be very disappointed, I'll prefer to change from another model more 'safe'
Same right mouse button problems here. I'm using the trinity since about one year i think. It's really sad that this one came with a price tag over 100€ and didn't last longer. I opened a Support case and i hope i'll get a replacement. Right now i feel kinda ripped to be honest.
