I've had this headset for 2 years no prob but, for some reason for maybe 2 days now it disconnects as soon as any sound from my computer go off. Like when I turn it on I get the noise that it connected but if I start a game, watch a video, play music, test sound in settings or even plug anything else into my computer at all and get the connected sound it then disconnects and doesn't work till I plug out and in the dongle. I've done everything windows update and driver update/re install still nothing. Next step would be to get a replacement this is my last try to fix myself please help!
thanks

new update this only worked for like 5 min. Then when I re installed the horrible razer program it started again!!!
Same issue here. I wasn't using my headphones for a bit because I didn't feel like it. I just plugged it into my laptop today because I needed the surround sound for a game, dongle disconnected the moment sound played. If I'm lucky, it'll play sound for a few seconds, otherwise it'll disconnect the moment a sound plays. Most recent disconnect was the MOMENT I clicked on test sound.
Additionally, I can't just unplug and replug the dongle. I have to unplug it, wait a bit, and then plug it back it.

Hi guys,
Please PM me the serial numbers of your headsets so I can validate their model and share a copy of your receipt for me to check its warranty. Based on your description of the problem, it's highly likely that the dongle is defective.
