Need help. 80$ Headset still in warranty broke but I can't do anything about it.

  1. My Kraken Pro V2 was not working today. I went over to chat support and we tried to find the problem. The agent concluded that the problem was with the splitter cable. He/she stated that I was sent a defective cable. I thought it would be fine because of the 1 year warranty (bought this around 9-10 months ago) however he said that there was nothing that could be done because the splitter cable is a "giveaway that comes with the headset" and that it was not counted in the warranty. because I have a full lineup of razer peripherals, i am disappointed knowing that when these do break i'm probably gonna find myself in a situation like this again. Can anyone help or am i truly stuck with a broken headset that is still in warranty
