Need help with Lancehead TE "left click and hold" erratic issues

Dear All,

I'm writing this new post as there hasn't been any post that I can find with the same issue.

I bought a Lancehead TE back in October 2018, and the mouse has been working great, up until now, where the following would occur all the time:
While clicking and holding on to left mouse button, it would automatically release and click again.
PS. While the physical left click button is maintained in depressed state, "re-clicking" occurs.

Fixes tried:
#1 Plugging and unplugging the mouse
> Problem persists.
#2 Plugging and unplugging the mouse into another USB port
> Problem persists.
#3 Updating mouse through Synapse
> Problem persists.
#4 Factory resetting through Synapse
> Unable to complete: Error message being [An error occurred while resetting the device. Please try again]
> Have retried it more than 10 times, but the same error message keeps popping up (error message in picture link -HERE-)
#5 Update mouse firmware via support link -https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1648-
> Updates from 1.02.xx to 1.03.xx Successfully
> However, problem still persists!
#6 Removed my Razer keyboard PORT USB plug
> Problem persists.
#7 Removed all other USB devices other than keyboard RAZER USB and mouse
> Problem persists.
#8 Tested mouse on another PC
> Problem persists.
#9 Factory resetting through Synapse on another PC
> Completed
> However, problem persists.

I've run out of avenues and would like to request for any help in getting the mouse to work properly again!

Thank you in advance! 🙂

Try to clean the affected button using a can of compressed air to remove any dust or debris. Otherwise, it's a hardware problem given the steps that you already tried. You can always check our self-help if you have questions or PM me anytime should you need further assistance.
