Hey guys, new to the forum here (trying to earn those missing zSilver for a keyboard).

So I live on a town with few ISP options, so the best I can get right now (and that i have) is ADSL with 6mbps which, in my experience, is really low for a 5 person family with a PS4, Smart TV, multiple laptops and my Desktop PC (without mentioning smartphones and their pesky updates).
Most of the time it's just me playing on PC so I get around 45 ms latency on games that have servers here in Chile (like League or Overwatch). There are always bad days where the connection is faulty (copper wire deterioration I presume) and such, but it is still playable.
But those days where my dad or siblings decide to watch some movies on Netflix I get tons of lag. Right to an unplayable level. That's when I just have to play something offline (Playing Shadow Of Mordor and Cuphead at the moment) but it usually happens when all my friends are playing so i'm clearly missing on some fun.

I would like to know your opinion guys. Have you experienced similar issues? Does it still happen with better net speeds? Have you found a workaround or something to mitigate the bandwidth-soaking-blessing that is Netflix?
    Feel free to add anything.

omg, I feel you! I had no idea that Netflix used that much internet but I guess I have to figure something out.

Having the same problem. I like to watch Netflix on my second screen when playing games but something that has annoyed me for a while is that every few seconds the entire screen will drop frames and only when a Netflix film is playing or paused. If you find a solution PM me)

I always do the same and I don't have any issues at all. But I use proxy while playing or watching Netflix. It has the highest possible speed and helps to bypass any restrictions.
