Just want to leave my frustration here !
For a long time I have been usiing Logitech Hardware for gaming. Keynboard, mouse and keyboard, one (!) software driver package. I was happy with all that. Not everything was perfect. Today I know "it has been perfect".
Unfortunately Logitech stopped delivering devices for a MMO player like me. They stopped MMO mouse, Keypad G13, and all the keyboards with many programable F-G-Keys.
So I thought, I was forced to look for a replacement, and I found in Razer.
A nice mice Nagar, a Orbweaver Keypad. Thats what I starded with. Thinking about purchasing a Razer keyboard in the future.
Now, month later, I am so frustrated of what Razer delivers, it*s hard to describe.
Hardware seems to be ok. But the software situation is such kind of awull.
Synapse 2 is a mess. Needs more than 2 seconds to recognize an applicaton change, totaly unusable,
    and uncomfortable too.
Synapse 3 is in a buggy condition since more than 6 month. Doesn`t support my 2(1) actual Razer devices.
I have been following the development since some month, and I can`t express, how disappointing all this is.
Razer, a well known name in gaming equipment .... has died for me !
It thems, they are totally uncapable of programming nearly usable drivers. May be, selling buggy phones and laptops (see battery problems and so on) is more proftable in short time.
But I wont`t support this kind of company policy any more. I will sell or give away my Razer as a present, and move to serious company.
Sry, but I have to say this !

Never been frustrated like using Razer peripherials

Synapse 3 software is some of the worse I've seen. Turned my computer on today and there was an update. Ran the update, and it wanted me to reboot the computer to finish the update, but the progress bar was only about half finished. I rebooted like it told me to, and it completely hosed the install. Had to download the program again and install it from scratch. This time, I ignored the reboot prompt and let it sit there until the bar was 100%. Why in hell would it prompt to reboot in the middle of the installation? Thank God my macros and profiles were still there. I swear, I think Razer programmers are high school students working in computer lab. If it wasn't so frustrating, it would be funny.

i agree. I just received a naga chroma (yesterday) and I can't import my 90+ profile from my razer naga 2014 (synapse2); how is it even possible ?

I think I will ask Amazon for a refund; i don't want to waste 2 hours and do profiles/macro one by one; that's pathetic.

How could they make a software without import function ? profiles are the most important function in synapse.

@klaus-l Synapse 3 should be released by end of Q2. As for Synapse 2, it's old software. Give it a break :)
@DemKy there should be an option to import settings. It should automatically update your list of macros, and you should be able to just re-assign the keys to your macros. If not, shouldn't take more than 15 minutes or so to redo 9-10 macros?
@villious See above. Beta software, they said it would work. To be honest, I get a lot of errors too. It's not just you. Synapse 3 is for you to experiment with, not to completely replace Synapse 2 (yet).

    Hope this helps

na, synapse2 profile got ".RazerSynapse" extention and you are only allowed to import ".synapse3" extention files in synapse3....
I google'd it and every thread i found are mad peoples

I found the profile as xml on synapse2_naga but i don't find any xml folder for synapse3_naga
    ( C:\ProgramData\Razer\Synapse\Accounts\AM_6------\Devices\Naga 2014\Profiles )

yes as you said, i have 5-6 macro but the problem is the profiles; i have 104 profiles; I'm using naga since many many many years.

And like I said about your problem in another thread: different software therefore different code. So you can't expect to just import profiles between two different things like that. It's like making a profile with Razer and expecting it to work with Corsair. It just doesn't work like that.

why you keep spreadin lies ?

Can you open .doc from MICROSOFT Word files with OpenOffice from Apache ?

yes you can, synapse 2 profile are availlable as .razerprofile or .css, they could easly make an option to import em in synapse3

@DemKy making it sound so easy as if they are doing magic on the coding. It's not just a simple word document that can be read up by any word app reader. It's a bunch of different code that needs to be converted to a new code. They mentioned working from the ground up and other modular installation on Synapse 3. If you can do it fast and accurate, I hope you try to apply to Razer so they have a "very rational human being" working things fast improving Synapse 3.

I have to use Synapse 3 with my new Tartarus V2 game pad. I don’t have the option to use Synapse 2, as it won’t see the new Tartarus V2. So I’m forced to use buggy, beta software for a new piece of hardware? How is that acceptable? Razor is well known for great peripherals, and horrible software. This is no exception.

  10. I am very satisfied with the Razer devices for their quality, comfort, ergonometry, but really the Razer's deserving part is the Software as expressed here, it is very uncomfortable to have a peripheral that needs constant updates and all online in an obsolete system as Synapse 2 is, I have to use it forced because Synapse 3 does not support mouse DeathAdder Chroma, and really Synapse 3 still has many failures, because I have a TE Chroma v2 and it does not give me more than pacotillas for your Chroma configurations, really the software has always seemed the worst of the company even when I love it.

Seldom I read such an unqualified comment. "A simple word document" is for much more complicated than an device configuration file ! So, if you don`t habe any idea of file formats and programming, you should better be silent !
Importing of legacy file fomats is no magic coding, but simply a litle bit expensive. If a company doesn't devolop this functionality, their customer support is only bad, nothing more or less (unless the company is close to going bankrupt) !
I don't think, Razer is going that way, but I think, their software development team is simply very weak. Compared to other companies development, they are are doing a bad job.
A company, that develops drivers, without exactly knowing and defining the outcome, has some serious problems in product managament and quality assurance (Don't know what I am talking about ? Read the comments from official stuff !)

Actually I am comparing Razer products to competitors for my personal use. I cannot talk about long time quality, but quality, comfort and ergonometry of my devices (NagaV2, Orbweaver, -and Ornata tested shortly in a shop) are very well, realy ! Unfortunately only software support ist such kind of mess. Very sad. I realy like the mice and the keypad. I would have bought a keyboard, if this driver muddle and buggyness would end. Sadly my hope has gone, Synapse3 is still in less than beta condition, still buggy and not a replacement fpr Syn2. Thats a very bad NoGo.

Well its still in beta, of course it will be buggy.
You don't expect to play a game still in Beta and it have all the bugs worked out. Hell, even the games that are supposed to be fully playable have bugs! It's the same with any software. It's bound to have bugs, it's just inevitable.

@klaus-l That's why I'm telling you if you're that expert and knowledgeable about this you should try your luck getting a job on their development team. As you said their software team is pretty weak means they need people like you I bet Razer will pay you big. Seriously man, they're just waiting for a guy like you to fix this.

PS. Apology. I guess my comment is unqualified to a pro like you.

Can anybody help me with Razer Synapse 2.0 and Razer Surround? They both don't work for me. I did install them but Razer Synapse is stuck on VERIFYING YOUR ACCOUNT screen and Razer Surround is stuck at Checking for the System Requirement or something screen.

Because Razer is blocking my account (yes, true, seems they cannot handle massiv critics) I cannot go on and don*t want discussing here any more. Forget Razer.

If your account was banned, terminated, or blocked...
You would not be able to post here.
You would have been wrongfully banned for merely stating an opinion about Razer products, and asking for support. You could report the moderator responsible for abuse, however I doubt there were any staff members, or bans, involved.
Additionally, you are quitting using high tier products, merely because you can't wait about a month for the finished software to be released. Seems like a error with the user.

It's nearly impossible for me to post, when I am logged in with this account.
Response is very, very slow, mostly times out.
Beeing logged out, or using another account, created for testing this issue,
    all runs nomal.
So my account must be artificially "slowed down". Can*t believe that it's a blind chance.

"I can't wait for a month" ? You are joking. Synapse3 is in beta since Sept 17.
And reading the posts according to it, it's still in a bad condidition
(and still doesn't support both of devices).
So, I hope, I can get this answer into.

Artificially Slowed down? What a very rational assumption man. A very witty comment. Maybe, Razer place you in their nonexistent watchlist? Who knows.

I can guarantee your account has not been slowed down. I'll ask staff to investigate anyways.
Also, Razer staff have confirmed full release by Q2 2018. That's in a couple months.
Let me know if I can help in any other way.
