New Laptops (17" 32 Gb 4k Touch)

On razer.com the search says "Intel Core i7-11800H" but when you look at the details it says "2.5GHz 8-core Intel i9-11900H processor", so I wonder which is correct?

Also, is it worth waiting for chip backlogs and get the latest specs late 2021 / early 2022?

I have the 2020 15" SE but need another laptop and want the top specs and am not in a hurry.

Thanks!

Yes it’s a typo on the banner, 4K 120Hz comes with 11900H processor. Which specs do you have on your blade 15, i don’t understand “SE” meaning, second edition? The 3080 on blade pro will come with 130 watt tgp apparently and has beefy 16gb vram enough to maxed out resident evil village that eat all my 8gb vram on 3070 blade 14 easily even on 1440p max preset which put that pro 17 the best blade ever made imo.
There’s two refresh this year (early and mid pro 17) I don’t think it will be another refresh until somewhere in 2022 when nvidia release (maybe) their mobile 3000 series super version.

SE = Studio Edition. I bought this a year ago - Razer Blade 15 Studio Edition - OLED 4K Touch 60Hz - Quadro RTX 5000 - Mercury | PC

I see. You’re on power station laptop, it’s 2000 turing generation first Rtx workstation gpu. Recently they announced next gen ampere rtx A5000 if it matters. And maybe the studio edition would be updated, I remember there’s still studio 17 that isn’t launched yet, not sure if it’ll be out though, but it was on showcase in nvidia 2000 series launch as one of their studio laptop model. However for now and I think in 2021 that pro 17 would be the most powerful blade that ever made (for gaming), not sure if upcoming rtx A5000 would catch the performance, since rtx 5000 is around 2080 blade 15 performance on gaming (both was maxq architecture).
