Im looking for a new mouse for gaming and I'm wondering if I should go for the higher DPI (Mamba) or The better Comfort (Ouroborus)

I´d go for the Mamba, because in my opininon the Mamba is much more comfortable
The higher Dpi shouldn´t be an important factor for buying, because most people are gaming at max 1500-2000 Dpi
However the Mamba is super comfortable and the chroma effect is awsome

If you're actually willing to spend $190 (CAD anyways) on a mouse, and don't care about DPI or lighting, definitely go for the Ouroborus. The customization possibilities are so vast and expansive, that you'll be very pleased with it. It's almost like a MAD CATZ (I've probably spelt that wrong, oops) mouse, with a lot of customization. Plus, it looks badass.

On a side note, I'm not too sure why everyone is choosing between the Mamba and some other mouse. The DeathAdder is in many ways better than the Mamba, and has a better sensor. But, what do I know.

I owned both Ouroboros and Deathadder (same shape as Mamba). IMHO, Deathadder/Mamba provide much better comfort/ergonomic. I don't really like the Ouroboros though.

For DPI, what is your current DPI for gaming? Which mousemat you using?

Really? I am currently on 10k DPI. I can't game with DPI below 6k DPI. lol

I would think mamba since it was more ergonomic and higher dpi. Besides that is the chroma effect. Ouroboros is more comfort for left hand user

I upgraded from the ouroboros to the new mamba. I will say that I didn't regret a single thing. The mamba is a larger mouse for sure, but it did change my grip.
I'd tell you to get a mamba mainly because its not outdated like the ouroboros.

The ouroboros is an awesome mouse, but it is quite outdated, as others have mentioned.

They're both great mice, but imo the Mamba is better.

Will the Ouroboros is more comfortable than Mamba?..

Mamba is more comfortable because of its ergonomic shape, but Ouroboros is ambidextrous so you can use it in either hand. Strangely I use palm grip with Mamba and claw grip with Ouroboros.

Which games are actually playable with 10k dpi? I mean with 10k at call of duty i could make a 360 by only touching my mamba^^

I play DotA 2, Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, Heroes of the Storm. These are the main games I play the most. I can't play any FPS because I will get dizzy by just looking at the screen in game for 10 minutes.

oh, i thought Ouroboros can change shape to be comfortable like MadCatz, haha

You get that 'motion sickness' too? It's a bit random for me...if there's too much movement and long periods of time without other things going on, I want to puke. Games like the old DOOM and Psychonauts do that to me...and I get it from Bioshock sometimes too, not as bad but have to take breaks, ugh. HATE that feeling. But for games like Halo I don't get it, strange.

Have been using Mamba for many years, from the old Mamba to the new Mamba.

Oh ya, motion sickness is the term. The only FPS I can play is the old CS.

What was the motion sickness actually? The new Razer Mamba have this problem?
