Just bought a Razer Blade Pro 4k 1080, specifically to use as a mobile VR rig. (Amazing machine, handles VR like a boss) Unfortunately, it seems every time I run VR the power supply is giving out. I get the windows error sound every few seconds and a message saying "VR runs better with power cable plugged in" Well thank goodness the power cable is plugged in then, and before I can click the dialog box everything goes back to normal. VR games such as Rec Room run super smooth on this beast, until this power issue interrupts play (Every few seconds) making VR, and any graphics heavy gaming, unplayable. I reached out to support 3 days ago, and their 24 hour SLA has yet to return my message, is this normal? Faulty power supply? Faulty power port? Faulty Razer Blade? It sure is a shame to spend 4 grand on something broken. Has anyone ran into similar issues? Or have any tips for getting Razer to respond to customers with new hardware issues?
