New Sound System VS Old in Headphones?

My headphones, the Kraken Bro V2, are great headphones. I've had no problems with them for as long as I have had them, and even using the surround sound and even the THX Audio installable programs I enjoyed how they sounded, just classic sound. Eventually I decided it was time for an upgrade, and a while back I tried the Nari Ultimate, and while they were amazing and extremely comfortable headphones, I noticed that the sound system sounded, in lack of descriptive words, very advanced, in fact so advanced that it took me away from the game I was playing. I could hear every single little detail to the extent where it just sounded off, and while it might not seem like much, for me it completely ruined the headphones. When I play games, I like to just hear things as they are. This being said, I really wanted to upgrade my headphones, but it seems like all the new gen razer headphones have some sort of new sound system that makes everything sound so advanced. Does anyone know what this is, and if I'm able to turn it off or something like that?
