Don't take other people words too seriously. There are a lot of trolls, ragers, etc. If this is your first MOBA, I recommend watching a video on the basics. Last hitting is very important in LoL and if you can last hit very well you can gain a decent gold advantage over your opponent. I also recommend watching LoL esports because you can learn a lot from it. Start off playing lower skill cap champions. Most of the 450 ip champions are low skill cap. After you get the hang of the game's mechanics then you can begin playing higher skill cap champions.

If you just want to play the game casually then you should pick a couple of champions you love and master them. If you want to play the game competively, you're going to have to play the meta champions which alternates every patch. Which leads to another tip. Always read the patch notes. There can be some significant and important changes and it is always good to be familiar with them.

Lastly, I really recommend playing with friends. It improves the experience tenfold.

First up trash talking is just part of the LoL experience and secondly try to watch some LCS (LoL Championship Series) on twtich.tv/riotgames to lern a bit about roles, builds and behavior in certain stage sof the game/situations.

Get used to the toxic trolls my friend. They will become a way of life.

Find some friends that have experience so they can mentor you and you can get a better feel of the game, and don't concern yourself with being "bad' when you first start, the game has a really forgiving system and the learning curve isn't hard to follow

Rather than watching eSports, I would recommend to watch some high ranked streamer.
Most of the tournament teams have higher strategies, that a new player won't understand.

As well, get yourself some friends and play with them. Playing as a team is more entertaining and you will learn how to work as a team.

And at the end, always mute the toxiq players.

getting a decent cs is the mos important thing since it directly correlates to how much item u can buy before end game therefore how powerful you can get. as a beginner i suggest practicing against bots and try to get as much cs as possible in lane with the pressure from the enemy as this will greatly improve your cs skills.

I found Ashe and Garen the easiest to play and im only lvl 9:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: But you should get use to alot of guy screaming feeder or report to you (little guys taking games to serious too soon)

My tip is have fun and enjoy :D

Most important thing is to find a champ you can find fun playing with, because you first want to learn how to play the actual game mechanics before learning each champion

Rather than watching any other players first, I think you should get down the basics first so you at least know anything close to what they are doing. I tried watching others in the very beginning and it made no sense to me. Another thing is that you should go play PVP as soon as possible even if it may sound scary. Bots can't help you learn anything besides the basics. Also, pick a champ that you seems interesting to you and look up video/written guides on how to play the champion. I found the guides to be especially useful when starting out.

Lastly, remember to ignore any toxic players, and that it doesn't matter because it's just a game and it's not even ranked.

  17. A few quick tips:

    - Towers = death....most of the time for new players.
    - Last hitting. Last hit everything you can. It's how you build gold and snowball.
    - Team fights are important. Earlygame team fighting should be far and few between. Midgame, losing a team fight can cost your team the game. You need to be involved with them starting around the mid to lategame.
    - Beware of ganking attempts. Pay attention to the minimap. Haven't seen the enemy mid in a minute? Might want to reconsider pushing forward too far, lest she jump out of a bush to kill you.
    - Don't contribute to the toxic community. If someone starts cussing you out or something, just throw them on ignore and report them at the end of the match.
    - Try out as many heroes as you can. Knowing how enemy skills work is very important and the best way to figure it out is to try the heroes as they come on free rotation.
    - Find 1-2 core heroes you love, and spend some time reading guides to figure out the best way to play them. Experiment with other heroes, but find 1-2 good core heroes and get good with those to start.

One important tip i think every new player should know.
All you should try to do is keeping on getting better at lol.
If you keep practicing you will eventually succeed.
