[New to Razer] Need help setting profiles to my razor chroma

Hey I recently got a Razer chroma, it's great I don't know why I didnt get it earlier. But I've been looking at some cool lighting profiles made online, and I cannot set them on my software.

Let me explain. I went to the razor website and downloaded a profile, which then saved it as a .ChromaEffects file.
After that I opened synapse (3), selected my keyboard, went to lighting, then selected "Chroma studio" --> clicked import, browsed the .ChromaEffects file and it worked.

So then I went to this youtube vid, downloaded this file, but this file was saved as a .RazerChroma. So when I went through the same steps when I tried to "import" the file was not found. Apparently .RazerChroma doesnt show, so I changed it manually to .ChromaEffects, now I can select the file in the browse section, but it won't allow me to import it. I must be overcomplicating it. Please help, I really want that profile.

synapse 2 profile dont work with synapse 3.

so nobody thought to make synapse 2 profiles compatible with synapse 3?

I dont think its a lot of hassle to make the same profile from Synapse 2 onto Synapse 3. Its quite easy to replicate stuff on Synapse 3 as far as i'm concerned.

yeah but the whole point of getting a profile is convenience lol...defeats the purpose

Yes it is but people are lazy and create one more time profile to save in softwere and sign it to account is to much work.

Remember this synapse 3 is simmular softwere but in difrent programming languages so there can inconvidiance and also is a beta right now so most functionality you will have in final relese can be not avalible now.
