NOOB - Wolverine Ultimate + BLACKSHARK V2 - mic doesn't work

Hello rookie here.

Using the Razer Wolverine Ultimate w/ Blackshark V2 headset on Windows 10.

Everytime I connect the headset into the controller port, in the microphone settings I noticed the test audio meter works for about 3-4 seconds then stops completely (also tested with a sony in ear headphone/mic combo, and it does the same thing)

The MUTE button is not on, why doesn't a headset mic work with this controller???

The latest drivers are installed with the headset. Couldn't find any drivers to update or install for the Controller.
The Blackshark headset works perfectly fine if connected directly into the headphone jack or USB soundcard BUT that defeats the whole purpose of being able to play with the controller in a comfortable seat farther away...

The mic audio port in the Wolverine Ultimate controller serves as a passthrough so it should work fine. Have you tried updating the audio drivers of your PC and removing any dust or debris from the port? You can also update the firmware by following the steps here. If that didn't work, PM me the serial number and share a copy of your receipt so I can start a case and forward it to the RMA Team.
