NVIDIA GTX 1060 MAX Q no longer recognized by system (code 43)

Hi all!

I got myself a Razer 15 laptop last year (2018 model) and with it came the GTX 1060 MAX Q gfx card and it was working fine for a while until recently I tried to connect it to my TV HDMI and noticed nothing was registering. I went into the device manager and saw that under display adapters, the GTX 1060 was showing as a problem and looking further into it, it was saying code 43.

I've tried the following so far:

1) Rolling back the driver - no luck
2) Completely uninstalling the driver and installing a new one from scratch - no luck
3) Complete system reformat with a new copy of windows 10 - no luck
4) Using the DDU tool in safe boot mode to uninstall all the display drivers for both Intel and Nvidia then re-installing them with official drivers downloaded from the Razer website - no luck

So I am running out of ideas now what else it can be apart from a faulty GFX card which means I'd have to try and get the laptop replaced through my warranty but before going through that arduous process, wanted to check if anyone else had any ideas?

Cheers!
