NZXT HUE+ syncing with Chroma?

    Hi everybody!

Have anyone actually have a NZXT HUE+, be it the AER Fans or the HUE+ LED strip and got it to work with Razer Chroma?

Would be nice to see if RGB hardware developed by other manufacturers can be used in conjunction with Razer Chroma.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still a razer fan just that I bought my NZXT HUE+ too early even before the HDK came out and also, there are not much RGB fans that are able to react to music!

I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure it's not going to work. As far as I know there's no partnership between Razer and NZXT.

Indeed it would be really freakin awesome. I am a Razer fan myself, but I'm planning to buy a hue+ in my new pc build, just because it has much more features than the hdk unfortunately. Especially that the back of it is magnetic, not just adhesive strip which comes off quite quickly, at least from my experience.

Yep tried many many LED strips, including custom made by myself. None of it is as good as the nzxt HUE+. The good thing about the HUE+ is the audio mode which the light will react to the music!! But be prepared to face some serious bugs if you have many different softwares running. Especially with a Corsair AIO cooler. The CAM software detects it as one of their coolers but ultimately, still solved it. So now for all my RGB to sync I actually have two softwares running for the audio mode :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yea heard about the freakin CAM bugs. They should definitely do something about it. Well tbh I'm planning to buy a Kraken x62 and because of these two, the AER fans (although I prefer corsair ones)

The AER fans actually look nicer than Corsair's. In any case, Corsair's CUE software also has bugs. Well to be honest actually most if not all programs especially for gaming peripherals has bugs hahaha. I got my H100i V2 then a while later the Kraken came out... sadly.

They have said in the post that NZXT will be coming too, and they are also opening the system up to all third party vendors in the future if they wish to come in, and they will do this at no cost, according to this post.
The Verge also said that Razer said the first third party products will be coming to Synapse in Q4 of this year.

Yeah, I really hope Corsair can somehow get in on it, even if it is only for their fans and stuff. I also think Corsair just announced their new ICue software for their stuff, and I thought I heard in one of the videos on it that they are planning to get some third party companies in on it too (Don't quote me on this though, can't find where I heard it). They never said anything official on their social channels though.
Maybe if they could come together and offer Razer products with ICue and Corsair products on Synapse it would be pretty cool.

Not sure if Corsair is willing to do that, never looked at Corsair as a company that will kinda open up their products to third parties. But who knows! If one day all the companies all open up their software to each other would be the best case scenario I guess hahahaha!
