This may be a stupid question and covered before but why are we not seeing support for Razer Chroma like we are seeing for other platforms like Asus Aura? Is there a price premium that OEMs decide it's a better value to simply produce their own platform or is a limitation of the actual platform itself?

On this idea I really hate installing three pieces of software to control my RBG system and accessories. They are lightweight and such but I would love hardware partners like Asus, MSI and etc that support the Chroma controller for managing their RGB lights so I don't have to have others. What is preventing this type of adoption?

It's business... probably license costs (maybe other reason)... or Asus / MSI never talked to Razer about Chroma integration into their laptops. On the other side Razer have their own laptops too... I don't think that they will be supporting their competitors by implementing proprietary functions like Chroma lighting.

I was inferring hardware of parts like GPUs, Motherboards and more. Laptops I understand the issues although it would still be very useful. The only hardware we have seen that supports Chroma made by OEMS have been "Designed by Razer" hardware which is great for Razer fans but not great for the platform in total. Razer can still keep a very high quality while supporting things like Asus Strix cards, MSI Motherboards, and etc
