Hey Insiders! We’re updating the way you’ll be logging into Insider which will affect all other Razer ID web related services. Previously, you had the option of logging into Insider with your email address. Beginning today, May 23, 7 PM PST, you’ll be prompted to sign-in with your Razer ID. Once you do that you’ll be redirected back to Insider. After the update, if you’re not signed-in to Insider but you’re already signed-in on other Razer ID web services, when you visit Insider, you’ll be automatically logged-in. On the flipside, when you sign-out of Insider, you’ll be signed-out of other Razer ID web services as well. This is somewhat like signing-in somewhere with your Facebook, Google or Twitter account for example. What does this mean for you? A cohesive Razer ID web experience; a one-time login for Razer ID web related services. Why are we doing this? Because GDPR. But to be more specific, we value your privacy and we want to make sure that everything falls in-line with privacy laws and best practices. What actions do you have to take? When you first log into Razer ID after the update goes live, you’ll be prompted to log-in, agree to our freshly GDPR compliant Terms of Service and you’re all set for Razer ID web related services. No more having to log into Insider separately! As a reminder, if you log out of Insider, you’ll be logged out of other Razer ID web related services as well. And finally, if you choose not to agree to the new Terms of Service, after May 25th, you won’t be able to use Razer ID services moving forward. Thanks in advance, we very much appreciate it. GG!
