  1. An good idea to improve our experience as pro-gamers and real-time content manager (broadcaster), being able to have a keyboard that allows fast keyboard shortcuts and macros that improve the delivery of content on Gaming Youtube, through from Xsplit Broadcaster or Wirecast.

Orbweaver Chroma + BlackWidow Chroma = BlackWidow Orb Chroma

    · 15 Macro Keys dedicated
    · Razer Synapse enabled
    · Avaible Green and Yellow Switches
    · USB 3.1 pass-through
    · Fully programmable keys with on-the-fly macro recording

We hope to see a keyboard that meets our requirements, at least mine. Hehe
What do you guys think, they want to have a pro-gamer-broadcasting keyboard?

Thats not really a Blackwidow Orbweaver combo.

Its just a blackwidow with more 10 more macro keys on the side (original already has 5).

It'll probably be too niche anyway. People who need that many macro keys will probably just get a Corsair K95 that has a ton of macro keys just like the picture you posted

That's a neat idea! I can see the use for more dedicated macro keys but having done a couple of simple streaming setups myself, I was wondering if assigning macro's to the numpads will work for your setup?

  4. With my BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth 2014, the softwares Xsplit 2.9 and Wirecast 7.6 I can assign the macro buttons as keyboard shortcuts, I could test them and they work correctly, but since they are only 5, I assign basic functions.

Thank for your response and good week.

Hey Skylar, no I totally get you. I was just wondering if you've tried using your numpad as alternative macro keys I generally don't use them for gaming so I've assigned them as broadcast macros for scene changes and music tracks while streaming.

  6. Ahhh, I had not thought of that, the change scenes or audio tracks in numpads, I thought it would not work. That has more advantages.

If you need the extra macro keys, why not just get a regular orbweaver or something similar and put it off to the side so it won't get in the way? My desk is pretty small atm and barely fits my setup, but I could put an orbweaver on my desktop right next to my desk.

The nice thing about razer is in the details of each product, adding 15 macros to a keyboard would be too exaggerated compared to the naga epic chroma

That is almost the reason, why I don't use a Razer keyboard (everything else is Razer).
There hasn't been a good keyboard with macro buttons and standalone media buttons (amongst other things).
