So I think I'm going to get myself an OrbWeaver for my birthday with my $20 RazerStore credit. That being said, I was wondering if anyone with an OrbWeaber or a Blackwidow would give me their opinions on their keys, be they stealth or clicky. Also, if anyone has a Razer Blade and something with the clicky keys, could you compare the two? I'm wondering how much louder the clicky keys are than the Razer Blade's keyboard (which is nice IMO. Not silent, but not super loud).
    Thanks!

I ordered a razer orbwaweaver yesterday with the orange switches but the greens in my black widow are very, very, loud even with the o rings. but if I get my orbweaver before you buy one I will let you know.

I ordered the orange version the first time, but exchanged it for the green version later on.
For me the orange switches always feel a bit mushy and cheaper, it's not the same as the cleaner crispier feeling of a green switch. I always got the impression I'm gaming on a normal keyboard rather than a mechanical, as the tactile feedback is less intese
If you want to know how they feel just go to a local store and try out the mx browns, they are much like the orange razer switches

The green ones I use in my Blackwidow Chroma is extremely loud. My mom even said that she can hear me using them just by coming near my room door. Go for the orange ones if you dislike external sounds. I personally love the clickity clacks. :)

After having the green key switches for some time I wish I had picked the orange,

If you are not sharing a room with anyone, by all means, the green switch is fine. My room mate wants to ban me from typing on my green switch during bed times.

So, basically the consensus is get clicky if you like that, but just beware that's it's very very loud

This question is all over the place in the forums =D So as everybody says, the difference is basically about the noise.

To make myself an idea of which one I should get, I have done research on youtube so I could find examples of people typing with one and with the other.

This is the video I have found where you can hear the "Green Mechanical Switches" (00:45 --> 03:55):

And this one is the video I have foung where you can hear the "Orange Mechanical Switches" :

I hope that this can help you =)

    HI I LIKE :tangerine:

Why: Stealthy means I can use my keyboard during streaming, recording, voice calls, virtual meetings, etc. Oranges are advantageous for gaming because of lower reset distance and lower actuation force (more speed, less effort).

Please check out my thread about mechanical switches! It has good information about this topic.

I'm a bit late since someone thoroughly compared the two of them but I own the green keys orbweaver and it does make some noise and more than the keys of my razer Blade. Everyone on vocal can hear my keys actually, it's not to the point that it's annoying, and I kinda like it, but if you want to stream it might be an issue.
If you have to be quiet (playing with other sensitive people in the house, at work, streaming...) go for the stealth without a second thought.

I like the clicky sound, the stealth feels dull and smushy when pressing on those.
