Pay to Play doesn't work, it doesn't count my playing time.

I have a problem with getting points for playing Razer Cortex. So far, everything was counting without a problem. When a new Paid to Play game, Team Fortress 2, came out, Cortex was not counting down on my playing time. It does not add any points. Reinstalling Razer Cortex didn't help. Recently, I was exchanging points for a coupon. Where to look for the cause?

1) Try opening Razer Cortex with "run as administrator" for all of the steps.
2) Launch the game from the rewards menu.
3) If step 2 doesn't work launch the game from steam while Razer Cortex is on.
4) If step 2&3 doesn't work launch the game from "game booster" menu.

I didn't try them lately but they used to work like a month ago.

Unfortunately, nothing helps. I am not getting points when I start the game. After the end, the Cortex rewards tab appears, but the points are not scored. The previous game worked fine.

Since Razer Cortex was reinstalled, we cannot find any valuable information to investigate. Please PM us your Cortex logs before reinstallation when you encounter an issue next time.

Problem was with Team Fortress 2. Now everything work fine. When I play Brawlhalla, rewards me with Silver Points

Here could you please try the below method?

  • Please exit Razer Cortex.
  • Restart 'Razer Game Manager Service' in 'Task Manager'-'Services'.
  • Launch Razer Cortex again.

Then, play the game for at least 5 minutes, and check on the leaderboard to see whether the gameplay time is tracked.

If this issue persists, please feel free to provide us with the Cortex logs for further investigation. I have PMed you a simple guide to help you collect and upload your Cortex logs.

Another game that doesn't count in "PAID TO PLAY". Conqueror's Blade. I think the problem is that the game does not start directly via STEAM, but via My.Games. When I run through the REWARDS tab, I have the message: There was an error processing the user's request The product is currently unavailable in your region When I run through GAME BOOSTER, I do not count the points for "PAID TO PLAY"

Conqueror's Blade isn't working for me, but I think that's because Cortex is linking to this version of the game: https://store.steampowered.com/app/835570/Conquerors_Blade/
That version isn't available in my region.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/905370/Conquerors_Blade/ is available in my region, is detected by Cortex but not earning silver (and the paid to play page isn't allowing me to launch it).

Same issue... and so we were left without a lot of Silver. They put a store page that is restricted for most countries: https://steamdb.info/sub/448330/

Yes, you are right. This game has two versions on steam. Both have a region restriction. Cortex only supports the first version. That is why the game is supported but you cannot launch it from Razer Cortex Paid to Play page.
