depends on the games, if the game is more suited for PC like skyrim, battlefield and so or are only on PC like league of legens, dota 2 then yeah PC is better but consoles do feature some really amazing exclusives like Halo or Gears Of War and such well for Playstation i cant say to much never owned one after playstation 2 and never really was interested to own one

i prefer pc since your games are not bound by times thanks to modding or vms. Also you can use a pc for more then gaming. If we stay in the realms of hardware the only difference is hardware tough.

PC - Better for competitive play
Console - Better for social / Solo play

I have both, or I am gonna get a new PC. I do have a PS4 and I like it, but the PC wins out on price to performance, usage and it doesn't require a membership for multiplayer, so of course it wins out, plus PC's can use controllers, tho more expensive they are worth it.

well said! also, being a lefty, I always have trouble with consoles because of having to change to southpaw settings... controllers are also much less precise as my hand movement on a mouse leaving me with a much lower k/d ratio on consoles (in COD, etc).

You can have the "console feeling" by plugging in a controller. So IMO; Pc = master race ^.^

I have COD AW on the PS4, honestly I learned that FPS is not good on console as accuracy is really bad, also Auto aim is annoying at times to, then when it doesn't work its even more pissing off, so PC wins because of the use of a mouse.

It really isn't. It does not matter what you play on or why, at all. It really does not matter, and serves just to rile people up. Just enjoy your games and enjoy being able to share your experiences with others.

well yea that's the point of playing games to have fun, but you can't get away from arguments about it as people still cause them anyways

Mods and the fact that it's not strictly for gaming leans me towards PC, but if I ever want to throw myself into a game with no distractions on another monitor then I go for a console.

Console's pretty good because you don't have to put everything together but it is very limited in performance compared to what gaming PCs can be upgraded to since consoles can't be upgraded. Also PCs have some games that consoles can't have.
Controls: Personally I find using a keyboard and mouse to be a lot easier to use than a controller with most games but there are some games that could be really good with a controller like with driving or flying planes and choppers in GTA. With PC, provided you have a wireless receiver and the drivers required, you can use a controller on your PC for most games but you can't use a keyboard and mouse on a console. At least I don't think so.
I would go for PC. Even though consoles have their merits, PCs just generally have the upper hand. Because of all the points I mentioned I switched from console to focusing on PC gaming. Still play my Xbox 360 every once in a while. Don't get me wrong.

Squarely on the PC side of this one!

Although there are way more games being designed on a console then ported, I have a way better gaming experience on pc. Better specs=better graphics and smoother gaming when the game is right. The cost is pretty high for a good pc, but to be honest, so is the cost for a games console. Just a personally opinion but I'd rather wait to game on pc for my games, than get it on console just to finish a sub-par experience to have done it sooner :D

Pc but use a console for exclusives

I prefer to have a controller (Razer Sabertooth) connected to my PC, than playing games on a console.

PC has much more possibilities when it comes to mods and configuration.
Other than that, you can often get games cheaper for PC than for a console.

I do have a console for exclusives, though.
