I am going to tell you my personal opinion, a 22-24 inch monitor is the best option. you can find them pretty cheap like 140€ , if you don't want to do crazy stuff with your computer like editing or running car simulation games u do not need 3 monitors 1-monitor is more than enough at least for me that works

    i use 27" 1440p, but i still think 24" 1080" 144hz is the best for gaming.

i think it depends on the distance you sit from it

so a larger monitor fror larger distances and smaller for smaller distances

im actually using 24 inch its comfortable.. but i would really love 27" screens. The size just attracts me. Anything over 27" is hitting the threshold for me

I'd say 24" - You won't see everything if it gets too big.

22" is perfect in my opinion, anything bigger is a bit overwhelming for me

I'm currently using 24" IPS one right now. It's nice, quite large, not too small not too big. However, seeing some 34" 21:9 monitors lately I'm really tempted to go for those. They have a lot of coverage, nice and sharp. Don't need to scroll my screen too much in combat and so forth haha. So I think they are the best now. Good for movies as well and multitasking. I have a TV but it just isnt the same, it's that wide angle that make it so attractive.

I just use a 42 inch TV with a Monster Gaming HDMI cable. ;)

Actual monitors are just outrageously priced I say just use the TV like I am!;)

I find 27" at 2560x1440 to be about right for me, thats for general use as well as gaming.

The problem with (big cheap) TV's is that they are designed for you to sit far away from them, so you get a big screen but it is relatively low resolution.
Which is fine if all you do is play games while sitting far back or watch videos, but for other things it isn't really ideal.

I really am still caught between 23/24" and 27". I have a 27" 1440p display and it is gorgeous, although sometimes the text is a bit small..... but I love it, but then I can seamlessly go back to playing my 360 on my 23" sony and enjoy it just as much.
