BlackWidow Elite keyboard keys were typing and locking randomly, as well as volume wheel was playing with me while it was connected to USB hub. I had to disconnect Deathadder Elite and come back to old A4 Tech mouse. It works fine when connected to USB hub.
I connected BlackWidow Elite in the only available laptop direct USB port. No issues so far.

I am not going to buy Razer ever again. Also can't send the mouse and keyboard on the warranty as it is not broken. It is just badly designed software. I guess I need to wait couple months until I buy desktop PC, sigh...

I wish I have read about Synapse and USB hub issues in any review!

I am having the same issue, I have tried EVERYTHING listed in this thread, online, youtube, etc. and nothing works. I will never buy a Razer product again.

I recently switched from Logitech peripherals to Razer and my reward is this longstanding disconnection issue.

I have set the USB power saving options in Advanced Power Management and Device Manager, but it still occurs. It doesn't do it every day, but after it does it once, it will continue to connect/disconnect regularly during that session.

I also noticed that once it has got into this cycle it will no longer detect and switch profiles based on the game/application that is running.

Rebooting the PC tend to put a stop to the flip-flopping, so clearly a software issue. Why has this not been fixed yet?

    I wish I had read this before buying my Razer setup;
    Razer Cynosa Chroma Pro Keyboard
    Razer Mamba Elite Mouse
    Razer Firefly 2 Mouse Pad
    Razer BaseStation Chroma Headset/Hub

Everything works great until Synapse 3 is loaded. then the entire razer echo system restarts every few seconds. All my devices are plugged into an ASUS x99 Deluxe II MB USB 3 ports.

Have had a case open with Razer for two months, and have done everything found in this thread! Nothing works to fix this except for not running Synapse!

Posting to keep an eye on this thread and hoping that after two years, something or someone figures this out!

Wanted to update the post and include USB Connections, plus I forgot one device as well.

Just so some of you can have a little peace of mind, if you can separate your devices off a USB hub and connect direct to the right ports, you can stabilize it. Not a sollution, it still crashes, but I've been able to reduce from every 5 seconds, to maybe once every 20 minutes.

My original post with the added device.

So after absorbing this entire thread, here's what I fathom. I'm lead to believe this really is a power problem. If you can separate the big draw items and get them directly onto a USB port from the MB, do that. put the low power items on USB2

    I originally had all these devices on USB3. With and without a USB3 Powered hub. With some devices on USB3 powered hub and some direct to ports on the MB. Made no difference, any combination I tried kept crashing when Synpase was running. So I split the devices out on the MB, according to what I think were large power draw, vs low power draw;

Razer Cynosa Chroma Pro Keyboard: USB3
    Razer Mamba Elite Mouse: USB2
Razer Firefly 2 Mouse Mat: USB3
    Razer BaseStation Chroma Headset/Hub: USB3
    Razer Kiyo WebCam: USB2

This has greatly stabilized the my system and reduced crashes. I'm monitoring the USB ports and logging with USB LogView available here:

    Good Luck!

Still no love. Device disconnects frequently still. Turned off Synapse and all is well. What a clueless bunch of clowns over at Razer Engineering. Sad.

Razer Support sent me a feedback survey for the support call they haven't responded to. :confused_:

    They didn't score very high...

Seems to work when I plug it in directly into my laptop, but I don't have enough USB slots in my laptop.:worried:

I haven't suffered from the disconnection issue since the Synapse update which was released just before Christmas. I can't be sure it is fixed though because there are is no change log and I still haven't had any response to the support case I opened in November. :frown_:

I had a disconnect/reconnect flapping episode the other day whilst in a game.
So it's still not fixed and I've still had no response to my support case.

    Hey Insiders

I recently helped out an Insider, my understanding of why many high tech computer peripherals does not go well with USB Multi Hub

    Check out the following thread~~
Razer Insider | Forum - Keyboards and switch usb

Whether this is the reason why RAZER peripheral keeps on getting disconnected~~~

It is just a matter of finding a right USB Multi hub that can handle multiple task and prevent from data flow bottleneck is a question.

  13. I don't think, thats a real solution. I never heard, that other brands have such massive problemes with their drivers.
Razer should produce stable drivers, nothing else.

I do agree, but no such thing is a 100% perfect consumer products

Competition between Intel and AMD. Roll back the time 3 years ago, Intel still produced better CPU, but now AMD has staged the playing field.

Battle between RAZER, Corsair, logitech consumer products also. They all have its advantages and disadvantages.

My earlier thread is more of an understanding rather than a solution.

Who knows, maybe there is a USB Multi hub that keeps the stable connectivity for all RAZER peripherals, like my USB 2.0 Multi hub. Which has not caused any issues of dysfunction or dis-connectivity for little over 2 weeks now. Even though I bought it 15 years ago

  15. I dont have enough USB devices to need a hub, so my issue is mostly with needing to have the app running. Based on what I am seeing this version seems like it should have been marketed as a different model. The V3 suggests it to be an improvement over the V1 and V2

Many people (my self included) are experiencing this disconnection issue when connected directly into their motherboard. The problem is the software, not the hardware.

Try reinstalling your device drivers or make sure that they're updated.

Hey guys, so I am a new owner of razer products. I started out with just the DA mini for my laptop, the first time I plugged it in directly it automatically installed synapse and everything was fine. Since then I have upgraded my setup and bought myself the goliathus rgb mouse mat and the rgb mouse bungee because I moved into my other room so I now have a desk and all that. Well I bought a usb 3.0 hub put everything together not knowing these issues existed and sure as hell all the problems started to arise. Everything was constantly disconnect and reconnecting and it is VERY annoying. Everything works fine when I uninstalled synapse but its very frustrating because as tacky as it sounds I was intrigued by the chroma synch function and wanted everything to look really nice. I really wish I knew about all this before I bought this stuff because I also have a keyboard coming that my brother bought me so what was the point if the software doesnt work?

had same exact issue. i reinstalled windows version from 20H2 to earlier version. un-installed and re-installed new Synapse 3. not working. just un-install Synapse 3 will solve the issue.
