Ever since I updated my Synapse 3 Software to the latest firmware update, I’ve been having issues where my Philips Hue bulb keeps flashing at a random rate. It does not happen when I switch to quick effects but then obviously I can’t use advanced effects for my keyboard and other peripherals and it’s really a pain. Even if I make the advanced effect only static, this problem still occurs

I have already talked to (Razer) online support but the problem still isn’t fixed and I’m not always available to be talking to support so that’s why I came here.

Here’s a list of stuff I have already done
    -Full repair of Synapse 3
    -Full Re-Install of Synapse 3
    -Multiple Reboots
    -Latest Windows update
    -Latest Synapse Software
    -Driver re-install
    -Hue bridge Disconnected and re-connected
    -Multiple Wi-Fi reboots

Here's a brief video on what's happening. It shows how the lights flash only on advanced effects even if you set it to static and how it doesn't do it on quick effects.

WWave effect on bulb will give blinking like fast breath effect becose there is no multiple zones on bulb :) If you have the same thing with static try to remove everything in entertaintment tab on hue tab and create new one reboot pc when you do create new one to make sure new settings will download to softwere. Next thing you can try to remove all profiles on chroma module and create new default and try from there If nothing will help you can always reset the bridge small buton is on back side on the bridge and set it up again.

Thanks for trying to help! Let me just get this out of the way first though, my other peripherals are set to wave but the hue is set to spectrum cycling, so it shouldn't be blinking, also it was all fine before I did the Synapse Update - I was using the same effect before and it was working completely fine. I've tried your method and created a new entertainment area, I've also reset the bridge but no difference. I also tried making a new advanced effect but that too doesn't seem to help. Thanks anyway though!

Try to open hue sync app and connect bridge to this app and play music or video it dosent matter to cheack if the same behawior will be there or it's just synapse module. Try also to take bridge closer to your lights and router to make sure it's not a issue with connection. It's really strange becose i use bulbs and lightstrip of hue in my setup and i can say you everything work fine.

Using Hue Sync, it seems to work fine. It also works with Synapse Add-ons like Audio Visualiser. Quite an odd situation.

In this case the last thing on your side you can do is uninstall every razer softwere and remove files from appdata and programfiles to make sure everything is dete ten reboot and download new synapse from razer website and install it and set it up.

I've tried everything you said but no luck. Today's Synapse update fixed it though, thanks anyway!
