Pixel Check Guarantee Service. I'd pay extra for it.

I've just had to pack up my replacement Razer 2 phone because both it, and the phone it had replaced, had dead pixels on it. I still really want the phone, and think its the right choice for me. However, I can't stand the stress of waiting for the phone, applying another screen protector, and finding out the third phone is bad too, so I've opted for a refund this time.

I don't know why, but dead pixels cause me a great deal of stress and anxiety. I can't convey just how bad it is when I have an episode of it, but I'm sure I must have some kind of disorder for it to get so bad. My eyes are fairly good, and once I've spotted the pixel it becomes a constant nagging in my mind, even when it's not currently visible. When I opened up the second phone and saw that it too had dead pixels, my anxiety got so bad that I'm making arrangements to find a local psychiatric practitioner.

This brings me to my point. I think it should be an industry standard to have every screen run through a scanner of some sort to check for dead pixels before and/or after installation in the product. When the scanner detects a problem, it can mark the screen for further review by a human. Then if it's got a bad pixel or three it gets trashed or marked for sale as a discounted irregular unit.

I assume that's not going to happen any time soon, so I'd also like to put another idea out there. I think I'd be willing to pay just a bit extra for an optional service to have someone to run the phone through a neural network scanner or something before shipping it. If it has so much as one dead pixel on it they put it back in the shelf and pull out a different box, and they keep at it until they get an issue free screen. Of course I'd hate for this to become a regular thing where people had to pay more or they'd always get from the pool of rejected phones, which is why this is my second idea.

So far, Razer and Amazon have been very accommodating on exchanging out my two bad phones, but I'd rather it never have been a problem in the first place. Any thoughts?
