PLEASE HELP Razer Kraken Kitty Keeps Disconnecting and Reconnecting

Can someone please help me with this.

I have the headset plugged into my motherboard (MSI MEG x570 ACE) and it keeps on disconnecting and reconnecting. Initially it would do this once or twice once in a while and I would just ignore it, but it got worse and is unbearable now (see attached video link). Even with the slightest head movement it would do this.

Things that I've tried but proved unhelpful:

  • I've tried other usb ports in my motherboard, but this doesn't change anything.
  • Uninstall and reinstall Razer Synapse
  • Disable and reenable audio drivers

  • When I plug it into my laptop, this doesn't happen, but Razer Synapse does not detect this device at all (unlike my PC).

Hi there! Thanks for initiating this thread. Have you tried scanning for hardware changes in your desktop PC's Windows device manager? Please follow the steps below:

a. To scan for hardware changes.

  • Click Start, and then click Run.
  • Type devmgmt.msc, and then click OK. Device Manager opens.
  • In Device Manager, click your computer so that it is highlighted.
  • Click Action, and then click Scan for hardware changes.
  • Check the USB device to see whether it is working.

b. Restart your computer and check the USB device to see whether the problem is fixed.
c. Disable and re-enable the USB controller

  • Click Start, and then click Run.
  • Type devmgmt.msc, and then click OK. Device Manager opens.
  • Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.
  • Right-click the first USB controller under Universal Serial Bus controllers, and then click Uninstall to remove it.
  • Repeat step 4 for each USB controller that is listed under Universal Serial Bus controllers.
  • Restart the computer. After the computer starts, Windows will automatically scan for hardware changes and reinstall all the USB controllers that you uninstalled.
  • Check the USB device to see whether it is working.

Feel free to send me a PM should the issue persists.
Hello! I have the same problem, I've tried every action listed above, but unfortunately this keeps happening to me aswell!

Can I PM you about this too?

Hey mate! Thanks for letting me know. Please send me your computer's Razer Synapse 3 logs and your device's serial number that starts with "SN" via PM. I'll wait for your follow-up.
