Why on Gods green earth would I give up system resources to a KEYBOARD LIGHTS 'app'?!? I am hoping that you have contrived a way, or had the good sense to offer customers a non-invasive method of using the hardware they purchased? Why do I even want you on my rig, at all, ever?!? I cannot think of ANY good reason you need to have ACTIVELY RUNNING software on MY PC, in order for me to control the lights? Wut?
And who needs 2-factor security for a FNG keyboard sales company? What is your business again? You have a WAY overblown sense of worth and value to think you necessitate such measures. It is utterly laughable. As is this policy. I just spent 150 bucks on a stupid 'smart'-'lit' keyboard that I cannot use. Without your permission, and assistance, and snooping.... get over yourselves...

You cannot control it without software (unless you have Huntsman Mini, because it has built-in option to turn some lighting presets).
If you don't want to use Synapse software, you can use some 3rd party software like Project Aurora or openRGB (but not all functions may work correctly).
