Power Cycling/Sleep Mode Problem

I have a 2014 model Razer Blade and if I power the laptop off or close the lid, it refuses to turn back on. I have to power cycle multiple times, fiddle with how long I hold the power button, and then it will FINALLY power on after a random try. Frequently the LEDs in the keyboard will light up but nothing will happen with the screen. I don't have a battery for this laptop so I can't do the power cycle unplug trick. I updated my graphics drivers already and it didn't do anything to help. What do I do to keep this from happening? I'm worried one day this thing just won't power on at all anymore.

Try the steps here and if that didn't work, PM me the serial number of your laptop so I can check for other workarounds to help you address the issue. I'll be locking this thread to curb our conversation privately.
