  1. With Chroma Animation Studio you can create rich time based animations.
These you then can play in repeat with Chroma Animation Player (included in the Studio).

While creating an Animation you can add effects to layers and asign them keys and colors.

This is an example what you can do with it.

    Hope you like it.
    I appreciate feedback :)

Yeah... Sorry for the bad video. This isn't my speciality :D

Also, the design isn't finished yet, so if you have suggestions, post them here :)

    nice.
that's the way animations should be handled in Chroma in the first place.
Easy to use, so anyone can make something for their own.
simply select keys on a timeframe and tell them which colour they should be, an go on to the next timeframe and do the same.

    Thank you Blackworx

make a working tetris game or a clock out of this and please add support for the new blades

  15. I guess, you have not really understand, that this is not a game. Rather its an animation creation software (like a video editing software). For demonstation i just created an animation that looks like Tetris.
Programming Tetris would have been waaay easier though :D

That's really good. Thanks for creating this, I'll be sure to have a play-around with this program.

    I. Want. This.
I had a program called GoD Color Profile Switcher back when I still had my Logitech G910. But this program was so buggy and difficult to use.
Your program looks pretty nice, can I try it? Please? Pretty please? :D

Very nice. Though because of the number of keys on the keyboard you're limited to the number of pixels. But Will be cool to see moving logos or words across the keyboard too. Some fade in and out of game logos maybe.

Be sure to post another when its open for use! Looking forward to it, it looks really well made! Do you have support outside of the keyboards? Because Naga Chroma support, or other mice support would be great, even though they have limited lighting options compared to the keyboard.

  20. Hey, thanks for your Feedback.
About your question: Yes, other devices will be supported. Including Keyboard, Mice, Keypad and Mousepad!
(Not sure about Headset yet, since its only one led and also it has some trouble with the driver, when addressing the lighting from a 3rd party application)

A bit of information to all of you:
What you see here in the Video was a proof of concept. I have programmed the software more or less on one weekend and so the code looks really bad.

This is why i have restarted the project and now working more professional on the code. This means, it takes more time to complete, but the software will be better.

    BUT
Even when the software is done, it's kind of not done for the average user.
You will be able to create animations with this, but this software is not meant to be used to play Animations.
I of course have plans for this too, but this hasn't as high priority.
Maybe someone want's to help me with this?
    Plans are like:
    • Player based on the later mentioned bca library
    • Play single animations, create playlists, play playlists
    • System-Event-Driven playbacks (like, windows lock event starts an animation)
    • Web Plattform where creators can upload their animations and user can download them, also built in into the application

The highest priority is to create a software enabling developers to simply create rich animations and use them in their software with the already existing library to play them.

The library is based on Colore and can be found here:
A friend of mine is working on creating the library in C++.
When this is done, the C# part will be deleted and a new C# project will be available, which will wrap the C++ API.
But for now, you can try out the C# part. There are some sample animations in the repository and also in the wiki there is a little explanation how to use it.
