Problem with razer keyboard

I bought the razer blackwidow x tournament edition chroma 2 weeks ago, i just started using it 3 days ago and right out of the box synapse 3 wasn't working at all it wouldn't even recognize i had a product plugged in, so i thought ok well ill just look up a solution i'm sure someone else has had the same problem, so i dug and dug trying all kinds of things and absolutely nothing worked so i just let it go and told myself ill just keep the standard colors that it comes out of the box with. well 2 days later I get home and turn my computer on all excited to play some games on my newish keyboard and i look down and realize nothing is lighting up on the keyboard so i look around on the internet for issues/fixes to get me some info on how to fix this not to mention im using the keyboard at this very moment to type this indicating it is working but nothing is lighting up i have done hours of research the past few days and went deeper into my computers files and data than i ever have trying to fix these 2 problems. anyways if anyone has any fix or anything please let me know, im EXTREMELY disappointed that such a reputable and recommended company is sending products like this out.
