Problems with my Razer Kraken TE

I currently just got a new(refurbished) Kraken TE from eBay, and once I plugged it in I noticed some of I really couldn't hear from it or use the mic. After some searching and even resetting my computer, I was able to hear it but only through the Kraken TE-chat channel. All other channels seem to work when they are tested, but don't make any sound at all. My mic also seems to have the same problem, it doesn't pick up any sound. I've tried muting and unmuting it many times and have also uninstalled and reinstalled all the drivers and synapse. But things still don't work as they are supposed to. I would appreciate any help and hope my unit isn't defective.

other things I recently tried to do is deleting synapse with CCleaner, troubleshooting,uninstalling programs like Realtek and nahimic, and plugging it in without the USB adapter. I've been curious if it needs a splitter for my computer(I own an MSI GS63VR stealth pro)? But if that's the case I think it should be able to work with the USB.

I've searched online for different methods but they don't work, I've also tried connecting my previous mic and it worked perfectly. I'm still able to return my product if it really is ineffective. So if its a hardware issue I'm able to get my money back.
