Problems with Razer Basilisk on Macbook

Hi! I recently bought Razer Basilisk mouse and I am using it on Macbook Pro (13 mid 2017), but have plenty of problems with setting up the buttons.

I use the mouse mainly for work, not gaming, as I set the buttons for most used actions in my most used programmes (that's why I bought it in the first place).
I also have Razer Naga Chroma and Ornata Chroma and have no problems, everything works normally.

With Basilisk, the problem is that it won't change profiles on it's own or it chooses a wrong profile (for example, two of the programmes I use are Photo Mechanic and Lightroom and it would change to Photo Mechanic when in Lightroom or vice-versa) and when I do change the profiles manually, the profiles get erased and I have to set up everything again. I did it at least 20 times over the weekend, I reinstalled the Synapse, tested with setting up a new account - nothing helps.

I also talked to the support, they were very helpful and really tried to help but in the end, they said Basilisk was meant to be used with Synapse 3 and it does not work with Synapse 2 but I did a bit of research and it is supported by Synapse 2 on Macbook. now, could this be true or is my Basilisk faulty?

if it is true - which Razer products can I use then, as I would try to change the mouse in the store? Mamba Elite would work?

but when Basilisk works, I love the mouse - great feel in the hand, extremely precise, very good ergonomics, nice feel on the buttons, great to be able to set the resistance of the scroll wheel (the only thing I miss on Naga Chroma), except for this problem with profiles.

Hi there! What specific version of Synapse 2 for MacOS are you using? Also, what version of the MacOS do you have?
Hi! I am running Synapse 2 1.85.2 version on MacOS Mojave 10.14.1.

I also noticed in the last couple of days that with Razer Naga Chroma, there are problems with colour lightning setup - if I want to change the colour our the logo Synapse just crashes, it crashes here and there if I want to change colour of the thumb-grid-buttons but have no problems with changing the colour of the scroll-wheel. But that does not bother me too much, as long as profiles work - I really need that for my work. The profiles there are no problems except it gets really slow from time to time or I have to switch the profile manually but after that it works normally for a while again. Same with the Ornata Chroma keyboard.

Thanks for the reply. I sent over a PM so let's continue there.
I wish Razer would provide the instructions to fix Razer Peripherals on Mojave on the forum so we could all refer to the instructions to get it to work.
