the proximity sensor I find incorrectly thinks I've taken my head away from the earpiece during a call and then starts spamming commands with my cheeks.

Yesterday I was in the middle of a call and it simply just ended. I looked at the phone and i had turned on flight mode with my cheek!!

i look at my phone after most calls to find i have pulled down the dropdown notification screen and opened all sorts of apps - i then have to scramble back to the phone app to end the damn call.

    very very very frustrating

is there any fix for this or is it just a crap proximity sensor?

Never had this issue.. Anytime I put it to my cheek it always goes dark till I pull it away.. If anything I've had a couple times where the opposite happened and it took a second for it to turn the screen back on.

Ok, well thats not useful…. I need people to reply who have had this problem or know of it, it has been like this for me since the start (Nov 17)

No point in people replying telling me theirs works… not helpful at all, tbh just winds me up

Did you ever think that if no one else replies, maybe others don't have the issue and it's only your phone? I posted to let you know that this isn't normal behavior for the phone during usage and it's not something I've seen others complaining about.. Sorry if all you wanted was a place to complain and not trying to narrow down the issue.
