PSA: First wave of FHD Blades possibly shipping soon

    Mine said that the delivery will be done on the 18th and my shipment status changed to in process 30 hours ago but since then I got no news, when did you order it?

    Guys, sorry for the double post, I got my shipping confirmation today and the blade was shipped on saturday morning.
    I should normally receive it tomorrow (FHD 512 Gb)

  5. Anyone else notice on their Order Status page it is now showing "This order will be shipped after the release date of 10/28/2016" now? That quietly slipped from the previous release/ship date of tomorrow... (FHD 1TB, order placed on Oct. 2nd.)
    Oh Razer, you and your release dates... sigh.

    Wow... I couldn't wait for tomorrow for them to start shipping but they've delayed it -_-

    Anyone who can't wait for the ship date and lives in the San Francisco area can pick up some of the FHD models today at RazerStore San Francisco. Give us a call for inventory availability. =)

    Thank you Jameson, but I live in Florida. I can wait for my Razer Blade, but I hope you guys don't send me a defective Razer Blade (1080p) just like what the folks in here are experiencing.

    I have just received my confirmation order for the Blade-FHD. Despite the fact that it is written shipping date is 28, if you look inside the box in the Order Status under Product Name, you will notice it's written in red that it will start shipping from 25th. So maybe it will only start shipping on Oct 28th for those who still haven't preordered it yet, while we can get it before the official release date.

    I made an order at Oct 2nd. I check order status every day. Still submitted. I'll be out of country for 2 months after Nov 17th. I afraid to be without laptop for 2 months. Hope Razer will ship it soon.
    Same time I don't expect it to be send at 25th Oct. I had a red inscription on my order, something like "It is a pre-order, it will be shipped until 25th Oct". Now this inscription disappeared. My model QHD 256 is "Now shipping" on product page. Hope it will be shipped soon...

    Anybody got their QHD 256? Do your orders on this model proceed further than "Submitted" Status?

    I know this question, could be cliched, but is there a difference in performance between, 512 GB and 1 TB in terms of read/write? I am considering the FHD 512 GB Model. As to the points of FHD vs QHD, I did own an Lenovo QHD Y 50, and I did have hiccups trying to optimize games such as COD AW, whereas, my roommate who owned FHD Model with the same configuration, ran his games in native resolution with no issues.

    I believe the 1tb will have faster speeds than the 512... just as the 512 is faster than 256gb. That's just the name of the game with these type of drives.

    Awesome! Do let us know how the system performs, with games such as COD, DOTA 2 and Battlefield. I am a little concerned about the dread temperatures close to 90 degree centigrade...

  13. I unfortunately didn't get on the Razer Blade bandwagon until last weekend. I ordered it Sunday evening; it's Monday night now and it's still saying "Submitted". So I have no idea if the order will actually go through or not. You would think it would not take longer than a business day to process an online order. Usually it's seconds to maybe a few minutes on any other site. I ordered the 512GB FHD 1060 Blade. I have to say, the store and support experience has not been great so far. I have a lot riding on this purchace -moving from being a long time MacBook Pro user to the FHD Blade as my first Windows laptop. Every publication I have seen is about the QHD+ model. It seems the FHD has been pushed to the side.
    I'm also leaving for a week trip on Thursday and I was hoping to have it in by then but I doubt that will happen unfortunately.. Kinda sucks to have Standard shipping the only option.
    If my order doesn't process soon I may try to cancel it and go through the Windows Store site if they will carry this model.

    I ordered my FHD 512gb on Oct 15th with the "Est. Ship Date:Ships from 25th October, 2016." dialogue attached to my order.

    A few days ago my order history disappeared completely. When I click on my confirmation email link it diverts directly to the RazerStore Support FAQ page. On the FAQ page I click on order status and (dot dot dot) back to the RazerStore Support FAQ page.

    So, unfortunately I have no way of tracking my order. I can be patient, really, but I would like to be able to look in from time to time and see what's going on with my order.

    My order also disappeared for 1 day. I wrote to support, they told they had maintenance on web sit. After 1-2 days my order appears again. But for 3 weeks of wait it still "Submitted".

    I honestly don't mind the waiting. But this not being able to see my order is unbearable! I hope you get yours before you leave...might be worth e-mailing them and see if they have some sort of prioritization process!

    I preordered mine in early October. It has been a couple of weeks and the status has not moved from 'in process' and they haven't charged my card. Now they have quietly pushed back the release date. It is getting really frustrating because I have to keep calling my bank and asking them to keep my limit increased for another day.

    I need this unit for work, and I don't have a lot of time to wait around and make calls just to make sure they actually get paid whenever they decide to charge me. I have not been able to get phone support, and email support has been a true joke -- that doesn't exactly fill me with confidence. Any enthusiasm I had for the laptop is gone. It's not even in my hands yet and I'm bracing myself to either RMA or return it.

  20. What's the screen like? I know it's gravy for games but what about Netflix? I do a lot of hotel sitting and hit the movie sites
