Hi there. Newly registered member here in the forum but I've owned quite a few Razer products for quite some time now. I recently bought a Blackwidow Chroma and the switch to mechanical keyboards is something I cannot regret despite the pretty steep price curve lol.

Anyway, I'd just like to ask if any keycap puller can be used to pry out the keycaps when it needs cleaning. Where I live, the enhancement kit isn't available in any gaming or PC store; however, they do have cherry mx key sets with keycap pullers that look similar to that found in the enhancement kit. Could those be used to remove the keys of the BW Chroma?

Thanks in advanced for the help! :D

  2. Any keycap puller should work. I personally use a small piece of metal to basically push out the key and clean it that way. However, that's more of a ghetto-way and I don't recommend doing it, unless you are okay with eventual scratches on your keys. (which you won't see anyway most likely)

Thanks for clarifying that! I guess I'll just buy the common keycap puller then. :)
