Hey guys! so recently I bought the huntsman elite. Now the problem is is that I have quite a few USB powered razer devices. My laptop only has 2 USB slots. I have the Huntsman (purchased recently) , Firefly soft (v1) , lancehead tournament edition, and the kraken tournament editions. I am using a USB hub with 2.0 ports... but it is not powering my stuff... is this normal?

Do some basic troubleshooting first by connecting a single peripheral with the hub and seeing if all ports are working fine. If they are then the likely issue is the USB hub you have isn't powered so the large power draw from all your devices isn't being supported by the USB port of your laptop (try a USB 3.0 port if you are using a 2.0 port).

If you don't get it to work with your current USB hub you might want to switch to a Powered USB Hub, you can find them easily on amazon. I would recommend a 3.0 powered hub but you will need to power it with a wall socket in order to keep using all your peripherals.

thanks I will try this.
I doubt that, I'm using 3 keyboards included one Huntsman TE on a USB Hub without power supplies (only single capble from PC to USB Hub)

SO maybe is the drivers problem. Try to unplug then reconnect it.

He is using a laptop. Laptop ports arent designed to supply as much power as USB ports on the PC. Some laptops also have safety protocols that limit USB power in the case that the port tries to get a lot of power from the motherboard. I use a non-powered hub on my PC as well and have a steering wheel connected as well but the same setup wont connect properly on my laptop either even though I have disabled all power protection things in the BIOS. Some laptops arent designed to supply power that much power to the port.
