First look, I think it's looking great ^^ Hmm to make it better? I would say cable ties, even tho it's not too bad. You do have some long cables hanging and being on the floor, that could be great to get off the floor or something to fit that neat look on your table.
That looks amazing! Love the RGB! What are your PC specs? Otherwise I would think some cable ties would be good, But I cant say much since there are wires all over the place down by my setup too
pc specs are: cpu i7-6700k @ 4.5ghz gpu zotac gtx 1070 amp extreme motherboard gigabyte z170 gaming 7 RAM G.skill 32gb @ 3000mhz
What are your case fans (The RGB Ones if you have any others ). I was planning on getting new case fans soon even though my PC is still under warranty because those stock CyberPower fans seem to be making some odd noises on startup. Also, Is it only RGB Strips or something like NZXT's Hue kit?
Only things I see that should be changed are probably better cable management ( I despise seeing random cables all over ) and I feel like you should get a monitor stand but thats just me personally I like a high up view
the fans are the nzxt aer rgb fans and i have the nzxt hue+ light strips. thermaltake makes some really good rgb fans as well as corsair. They all are really cool. I love rgb lol yea I admit, my cable management skills definitely need work.
my grasshopper -here are a few tips nice pc inside cable management although it could use a bit more work- the cyberpower guys do a great job but remember: the pc is yours and you can open it up and help out a bit Personally, I dont mind the wire management too much; however, if it bothers you go for it! With the money you spent on the chroma headset holder, why not buy a better pc case? it may just be personal preference but I don't have too much liking The vr can go to a shelf above- i store my set below the desk on a "hanger thing" that I picked up from ikea but if you like that placement, go with that Upgrade the monitor if you have the resources to something slightly bigger - the computer is nice but what good is that without a nice monitor? Cable management tip - get some ties! Hope this helps
Cyberpower? Nah, I built this myself lol. I got the case for super cheap so I couldn't pass on the offer. Yea the vr normally sits on the shelf to the right of the desk but I put it there so it could be seen. The monitor definitely needs to be upgraded. While it is a 28in 4k monitor its only 60hrz and is ok I guess. I've been waiting for the asus pg35vq to come out.
Thats an awesome setup my friend. Just as you, I'll learn cable management one day! nothing additional for input as far as what you can do better. However, If you added that 2nd screen it would be an Ultimate setup! Edit: Oh and if you haven't already, you should share your setup on this thread https://insider.razerzone.com/index.php?threads/show-us-your-battlestations.26810/
This would be a lot of work, but would make it look extremely nice For the blackwidow, orbweaver, firefly, and possibly basestation. 1- Drill holes either small for single cable, or a few large ones with those cable cover things you put in desks 2- Put the cables through those and run them under, and around the back of the desk, right up to the PC. Gets rid of cables for a more "wireless" and clean look. Don't do it for the mouse since you don't want the wire to tug.
Does the desk have a motor so you can adjust the height of the table? To improve your cable management i would suggest the cost effective Signum, Cable Trunking Horizontal from Ikea. It's cheap and awesome.
Yea it has a motor to adjust height. Sometimes gaming gets too intense to sit down. lol I do have one small cable management thing under the desk towards the back so you cant see it but i need another one for some of the other wires. My cable management skills definitely need some work.
